Working in the City in a stressful job, I was desperately in need of an holiday to bring some normality to my life, I can't believe I hit the jackpot in finding this hotel, the owners are the most friendly and welcoming people you could ever meet, the rooms were first class, clean and very comfortable, the hotel swimming pool... more
Definitely worth its 5 stars, beautiful property, very envious of the owners being able to live in such a nice villa. As the other poster said, its like staying with friends for a weekend. Elegant rooms, lovely (partial) sea view room, exceptionally comfortable bed, nothing too much trouble, breakfast ordered the night before - bit strange but seems to work... more
We have just returned home from this fantastic hotel, we stayed in the Haldon family sweet room with our two daughters 8 and 10, very comfortable beds, so much so when we arrived home we went out and bought a new bed,,,, you don`t realise what your missing out on till you try something different. We met some lovely people... more
We have stayed here 3 times now and this is the best hotel i have ever stayed in, it should be 5 star+++ it is run by a fantastic couple and is so personal. The rooms are perfect! the breakfast is A1 it is not far from meadfoot beach and is a perfect location for a holiday. more
