Mariners is situated a comfortable walk from the City Centre. I always receive a warm, friendly welcome. Elaine's rooms are clean and warm, and the en-suites are spotless. The breakfasts are very good.

Stayed for one night. Mariners is in an ideal location between the sea front and city centre. Easy walk to either. A much quieter location than we thought for a city centre which was a nice surprise. Very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. Couldn't have asked for more for our short break.... More

Had a wonderful stay.Minutes away from the Plymouth Hoe.While staying in Plymouth,a visit to the Sea life aquarium is a must....We made a visit to the Minack theatre,Marrazion and Porthcurno as well.Room was cosy and we had a wonderful night's sleep. We didn't get an ensuite room but it hardly mattered.......

I stayed at Mariners whilst working at the Plymouth Theatre Royal for a few days, and it just felt like being at home! Elaine showed me around and gave me my key (plus a map of Plymouth, kindly), then I just came and went as I pleased. My room was very comfortable and very clean. The guest house is in... More

What a find the Mariners is - everything you could possibly want at a very reasonable price. The Mariners is spotlessly clean, the room was large and comfortable, well decorated and obviously cared for. The breakfast was superb - and served by the ever-cheerful Julie. I really rate this very highly. Well done Elaine and Steve - and thank you... More

I stayed at Mariners Guest House, with my wife and two young daughters, last August 2010. It was one of the best guesthouses I have ever stayed in, in my entire life. The Full English Breakfast was first class, the cleanliness of the room got 10 out of ten and the young couple who run it, most friendly, hospitable and... More
