We come down to Plymouth from Hertfordshire about five times a year to keep an eye on wife's aged father. We have been spending four of these trips a year at Bovisand Lodge in a caravan. Mr and Mrs Hart and James and Candice are charming, helpful and efficient, considerate and friendly. The caravans are spotless, well-equipped, comfortable, centrally heated... More

We have been visiting Bovisand Lodge Estate since our son was just a baby, he is now 12! We love the fact that you have the feel that you are in the middle of nowhere but in fact you are just a 10 minute drive from Plymouth or a 5 minute boat trip via the Mountbatten Ferry. It is also... More

We have just returned from an idyllic fortnight at Bovisand Lodge. We initially booked a mobile home for a week but after two days we knew we had to stay longer! Bovisand is a wonderful retreat with outstanding facilities. We travelled with our toddler and 6 year old. The mobile home was pristine, well equipped and safe for our toddler.... More

Nestled in its own little valley the estate is a haven of tranquility. The site isn't huge so has a relaxed feel to it, perfect for quiet breaks or family holidays that don't need to be frantic. The caravans our group stayed in were top notch, modern and we'll equipped. We've used the site for a few years and hope... More

We chose Bovisand Lodge Estate through the reviews already posted and were not disappointed at all. The accommodation is superbly appointed, cosy bedrooms and underfloor heating in the bathroom was a real bonus for a winter stay. Our arrival during the December holidays was met with a warm personal welcome with Christmas decorations, mince pies and clotted cream, nothing too... More

We have just returned from a wonderful (and windy) weekend away staying in the Rennie apartment. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, with stunning views from the terrace towards the sea. It was sheltered there so even in a blustery weekend we still managed to have our coffee looking out to see. The pool was a good size, a... More

I almost don't want to tell you about this place, because then you will come and it might get busy! However, it's only fair to share that we had brilliant time there in one of the lodges with our grandchildren. The accommodation was clean, spacious and welcoming. The site is on the wonderful Bovisand Beach and has a swimming pool,... More

This camp site was recommended to me by my Sister, so with that and the existing Trip Advisor reviews, we already had certain expectations. From the outset I had a good feeling about the place, as the initial contact with the Hart Family was so friendly and professional. We were certainly not disappointed. The two bedroom caravan we had was... More

We have just returned from staying in the Bracken Lodge (February half term). We tend to stay in similar self catering accommodation 3 to 4 times a year and have never stayed anywhere as clean and well equipped as this. Bracken has a really nice view out to sea so take your binoculars. The site itself is very clean and... More

Great place to stay, i would recommend it to anyone. There is a pool, a park, a beach and many walks around plymouth. It is a very family friendly place as you see many children running round which adds to the atmosphere greatly. If you are thinking of going I would recommend sstaying in a caravan as they are always... More
