Firstly let me say this is a working farm, for those who don't want animal noises or the occasional farm smell don't book of if you do book don't moan afterwards. Right now that's out of the way, let's start. We wanted a location close to plymouth, that was quiet and as a bonus on a farm. This place fitted... More

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting for a family party. It was just what we needed and loved that it was quiet with just farm sounds. We didn't mind the farmyard smells although some might be put off. Owner very friendly and happy to help. We will certainly stay again.

Loved my stay at Gabber Farm, really good value. Cooked breakfast was delicious and included in the price. Owner is friendly and always happy to assist. Room (twin ensuite) was clean and cosy with tea making facilities, oh, and wifi! A little bit of noise from the farm vehicles and cows but that's to be expected on a working farm.... More

Stayed for 3 nights with a break of one night in the middle where we stayed at Langdon Court for a wedding. Firstly it's very rare for a B&B or hotel to allow you to split your stay, especially over a weekend, so excellent service. The owner Margaret is very friendly and takes an interest in your visit, and is... More

I stayed at Gabber farm recently found on night. I rang and booked very last minute after seeing a vacancy online. The farm is located about 20mins from Plymouth in a small village called Down Thomas. It is a working dairy farm run by Margaret who is wonderful. I stayed in a single room with no ensuite which was no... More

Gabber Farm is conveniently close to Plymouth and its marinas. I needed somewhere to stay overnight when I was preparing a boat in Plymouth Yacht Haven, and could not conceivably have done better. The rooms have everything you could need. En suite shower room was well appointed, very clean, and with a strong electric shower. Really good tea and coffee... More

Just as below had commented, I would recommend and would stay again and the breakfast is the best I have ever had period. Margaret was extremely hospitable and very communicative, I felt like I was at home. Give it a try!!

A working farm with good B and B facilities. Margaret did all she could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The rooms are clean and comfortable with tv, tea and coffee making facilities. I have to agree with other reviews here breakfast at Gabber Farm is the best we have had anywhere, plentiful and tasty! Probably the best meal... More

We stayed at Gabber Farm after getting off ferry at 8 pm. The rain was torrential but we found our way without difficulty to the farm. There was a note to say that our host had gone out and to make our way to our rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable if a little dated, and we all had... More

Stayed for one night as friend and i were going to a wedding down the road (walking distance) at the Langdon Court. Ideal walking distance although its down country roads so pitch black. Location is secluded and i believe to be on a milking farm as our bedroom, which was a double ensuite had full view of the cows in... More
