I would give the hotel itself 5/5 for cost, cleanliness, facilities and the friendliness of the staff, however there is no car parking facilities, for a 2 night stay it cost £22 on top to park there, while I appreciate it is not easy to park in any town/city center, the hotel should have an option available for those who... Good basic accommodation which is close to the Bretonside Coach station. Have stayed at this hotel on a previous occasion, a bit disappointed about the small double bed which was not properly made. Like the refreshments that are on offer at check in. Serious safety concerns about the back door on the lower ground floor being left wedged open and... More

you won't find the car park, you can't ask reception where it is as you cannot park near the hotel. you cannot pay at reception for 24-48 hour parking, avoid bringing a car with you at all costs ! no car drivers should use this hotel !

We stayed here for 3 nights. Positives: Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Individually controlled heating in the room. Good shower. The foyer and bar we're comfy and had a good atmosphere. Negatives: The drains for our bathroom sink were extremely loud whenever you used the taps. Really not a mauve problem! The towels were tiny. Which was fine for... More

Clean hotel in a great, central location. Our room was on the fifth floor which had a lovely view. The room had the necessities we needed but could have benefitted from a small fridge.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

In Plymouth on business and needed a bed for the night. The outside of the hotel does not do the place justice. It is bland and concrete and looks drab. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The hotel is going though an extensive refurb and I love the results. I had a room on the 4th... More

As good a hotel as I have stayed at within the price range. Andrew the night manager was particularly helpful to me during my stay. Good sleep quality over 3 nights and very clean in both the room and communal areas.

Lovely hotel very close to Plymouth waterfront. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms are newly refurbished and very stylish. Food was very tasty too and as a woman travelling alone it was really nice to be allowed to take my food upstairs.

Parking could be clearer and don't pay for it at the car park go to reception for a cheaper rate, discovered after checking in when already paid for the parking. Eat out in the evening. Would stay again

We've been coming to Plymouth for years for sports and theatre events and regularly stay over. This hotel is absolutely the nicest we've found - our room is lovely, tastefully decorated with some decent artwork (a rarity!) and looks and feels brand new. We've got a view of the Barbican and up on the 6th floor it's fairly quiet despite... More
