Stayed here alone on business and paid £35 for a room with a double bed. The pub is tricky to reach involving driving in narrow alleys. It is in a little fishing villlage across the harbour from Plymouth itself, and retains an unspoilt village atmosphere, despite the Ministry of Defence being based nearby. Stayed at the Boringdon Arms for 2 nights while attending a wedding in the area. I have to say that Barry and Liz are two of the most hospitable, friendly and helpful proprietors I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. Great budget pub to stay at. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and very filling. We didn't have an evening meal, but the menu looked really good and based on the breakfast it would have been excellent. Accommodation is budget, but had a tv in the room.
