One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Stayed for a weekend in June, and from the minute we arrived it was more than special. Very chic and beautifully decorated public areas, and the rooms exceeded all expectations. Everything has already been said about the rooms, but the bathroom still knocked me sideways - larger than my living... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night in June whilst travelling on business in the Plymouth area. I simply cannot fault this hotel. It is the best hotel experience I have had within the UK. From the minute you enter the private winding driveway you know this is something different to the norm. Staff were very friendly and helpful,... more

We stayed here New Years Eve after hearing rave reviews about this newly opened boutique hotel and were not disappointed. This hotel has a country house feel and we received a warm welcome on our arrival. We stayed in a deluxe spacious room which overlooked the rear garden with a fantastic bathrom and an amazingly comfortable bed. We had the... more

After getting married in a local fort and having the reception elsewhere, we arrived at St Elizabeths for our wedding night to find an irish wedding in full swing, we were welcomed in (despite there then being two brides) and were made to feel extremely welcome! The Longbrook Suite was superb and relaxing in the two side by side baths... more

We stayed in this hotel for one night whilst we visited Plymouth. It excels in all aspects; the rooms are really comfortable and large with Plasma tv’s on the walls and the bathrooms are to die for. We had a wet room shower which was about 10 feet square with a powerful 10” shower rose – very much like those... more

5 stars to this one. This is a magnificent hotel, in a beautiful garden setting. Our room on the 1st floor was unbelievable, so big and the bathroom alone was bigger than many English hotel rooms, with 2 hand basins, 2 full size baths and a huge shower room. This is a new hotel and everything works well, the meals... more

We stayed a week night - June 2007 This hotel is simply stunning, with quality finishing and excellent attention to detail. Our room was on the first floor, and was charming. Simple modern design easily blended with the building's original features. The bathroom was fabulous, most probably the best I have ever seen. The staff were friendly and professional. We... more

This is the first time I have been so impressed with a hotel that I have been bothered to review it! It is a small boutique hotel with a fantastic eye for detail, the decor is great, obviously pretty new, and spotlessly clean. The staff were super friendly and for such a nice hotel the bar prices were v reasonable.... more
