We enjoyed staying here and would stay again if we were in the area. It's a good base for the local area, the village is pretty, the pub is excellent - good beer and food and the accomodation simple but clean and comfortable (and warm)

Very comfortable stay, rooms have recently been decorated so very clean. Rooms cleaned every day and Towels are changed every day. The food in the Mild May Colours was excellent, definately worth a visit. We'll definately be visiting again in the summer. We found some Lovely walks and the village of Holbeton is very pretty.

Very tired hotel,Rooms drab and dirty not cleaned each day beds not made towels poor bathroon very grubby.We waited over an hour for evening pub meal,breakfast ok. Whole thing not helped by chinese resturant on top floor of pub!!!!
