If i could give no rating i would. From the moment we got there it was a disaster. We were hit with a stale dirty smell for starters, we then went to reception to book in where the young guy was smoking weed in the kitchen where they cook breakfast for the hotel guests. He was so stoned we had... More

We would like to say that we were very happy with the service we received at St. Rita's and the friendliness of the staff and fellow guests. It is a budget hotel at budget prices, anyone wanting the Ritz type of service should stay at the Ritz!! It is comfortable and everything as it is intended to be, cheap and... More

We made a booking directly with hotel as we thought the room rates were more competitive going direct rather than through an agent website. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We informed the hotel by email and they got back to us surprisingly quickly and were very courteous and understanding. Thankyou!

Nice hotel, excellent value for money, breakfast was good. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel was easy to find right on the main road. Staff were friendly and polite. If I had another night in Plymouth I'd stay there again.

Unfortunately i Stayed here for 9 nights!!! It is by far the worst place I have ever stayed and I have travelled the world!! (And stayed in some bad places) but this one topped the lot for being DIRTY!! The towels had holes in and were dirty and stank! So were the bed sheets hair on the pillows still! THE... More

I wasn't expecting The Ritz, it's exactly what you'd expect for the price! Room seemed ok at first, but we found a used needle in one of the cupboards, I went downstairs and told the young chap on reception, asking him to remove it! Once he came up to the room to look, he simply said that it could been... More

First of all there was no shampoo or conditioner , just a tiny bottle of shower gel which in a king size room for 2 adults is pathetic. Secondly there was no non slip matt in the shower which caused becky to slip, but she managed to catch herself . Thirdly there was no drain cap on the shower floor... More

Having read lots of negative reviews I was pleasantly surprised. We booked a family room for an over night stay in Plymouth. The room itself was clean and more than big enough. A few points that let it down were the fact it was at the top of the house, 3 flights of stairs with a toddler and luggage....staff were... More

With having a son at Plymouth Uni for the last three years we have stayed in quite a few budget hotels & this is by far the worst & not even the cheapest. We chose this one as it was graduation week & our preferred hotels were fully booked. Threadbare carpets, ancient furniture, ancient sanitary wear, peeling wallpaper. Situated on... More

Room falsely advertised, Parking a joke. Reception area filthy. Room filthy. Bed linen looks unwashed. Didn't even want to remove our shoes as it was so dirty. Only stayed for 10 minutes. Reported back to Chris at the reception who was hostile unhelpful but did not come across as surprised. He refused to give the name of the manager when... More
