We recently attending a wedding at this hotel/golf club, the room we were allocated was of a good size and nice views of the grounds, we also went into a number of other rooms that were also of good sizes. The staff in his hotel were very friendly and the food was brilliant not just the wedding food itself we... More

We last stayed here in 1981, and was slightly disappointed that the hotel was not functioning at the same level. A previous comment talks about a little TLC needed, and I think a cash injection for the more basic needs is also desirable. We had a fabulous room in terms of size, space, and views over the surrounding countryside, which... More

Apart from there being no table tennis a footy court that was over grown and broken and a tennis court unfit for purpose. There was no continental breakfast the fruit salad was tinned and the cooked breakfast was dumped on the table whilst we were still eating our cereal. The cups were dirty and the tea weak. To top it... More

We were invited to attend a wedding here recently and will, hopefully, never return again. The hotel failed to deliver on most counts. Poor quality food, delivered extremely late with terrible presentation. The wine failed to arrive on our table until I reminded the staff that they had forgotten us. This summed up the effort the hotel put into the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Elfordleigh for our wedding anniversary. We had an amazing huge bedroom with fantastic views and a four poster bed. The swimming pool was lovely with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Staff were friendly and we had a very relaxing break.

On arrival, we were worried this was the wrong place for us, but this is a Hotel you need to savour and give time. It needs a little TLC, however it is a 3 star and not trying to masquerade as anything more. The grounds are lovely, although we don't play golf, we had a lovely amble around the course.... More

I stayed at the Elfordleigh as part of a hen party for a spa day and night at the hotel. The spa facilities were basic but enjoyable enough-we had use of the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and outside patio area (where we sat on the walls as there were not enough chairs for the amount of guests outside). I had... More
