I stayed here one nighgt on business in the area, the room was very large and the bed was comfey, I ate in the very modern looking bar area and the food was good. Good things: Very good shower in the room, although it was gllomy as the cubicle has no light in it. Very large room but most space... More

A group of 4 of us needed 2 rooms to stay in before family members plymouth uni graduation. Found this hotel and prices were much better than premier inn etc in central plymouth, and turned out to only be 10mins out of city centre so great location. Myself and my boyfriend upgraded to the 4 poster room with spa bath....amazing!!... More

I stayed here with a group of three girls. The spa facilitates were clean and were given towels to use. Food was amazing, we had a set meal with a variety of choice. Beds were comfy could just do with fluffier pillows.

We needed somewhere local to stay overnight while helping my parents move house. I have passed this hotel many times but we have never stayed before. The location and the grounds are beautiful - you're in the country while still being very close to Plymouth. The house itself has many wonderful features - a sweeping staircase and terraces and rooms... More

Went there for a weekend break with a friend. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The ideal place to get away and have some solitude, but with plenty to do as well..had a spa treatment for pampering and the lady who done it was truly brilliant. Evening meal was exquisite, i will definately be coming back.

We have just had a 2 day break at the Elfordleigh for my mum's 80th birthday. The hotel is set in wonderful grounds & our bedrooms were lovely, very large with everything you need & wonderful views. We ate at the hotel & the food was magnificent. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very well kept. We also used the... More

Visited as a couple with a pair of spaniels. Good dog friendly hotels can be hard to find, the Elfordleigh is a gem for 'canine couples'. Having our dogs with us meant we couldn't dine in the restaurant. We breakfasted in the golfers bar in the morning and outside in the evenings. The wait staff set up a table outside... More

The staff in his hotel were very friendly and the food was brilliant not just the wedding food itself we... More

We last stayed here in 1981, and was slightly disappointed that the hotel was not functioning at the same level. A previous comment talks about a little TLC needed, and I think a cash injection for the more basic needs is also desirable. We had a fabulous room in terms of size, space, and views over the surrounding countryside, which... More
