I had exams at 9am on three days. In order to combat a long commute I decided to stay at Travelodge Plymouth. This hotel was comfortable and gave me a good nights rest. Would highly recommend this to all those who commute and need a place to stay overnight!

Currently laid in bed in the hotel room, can hear party music being blasted out of the surrounding pubs etc.. The bath is tiny! Otherwise room is OK. Staff on reception lovely but Travelodge need to sort out the soundproofing if they are going to have a hotel next to busy nightlife.

Good central location, but room not clean and very warm (even with radiator turned off). No restaurant on site, so no evening meal (lots of restaurants close by though) and takeaway breakfast box only. But by far the worst thing is the hair ball (not the cat type) I found in my bathroom..... Gross. I would not recommend this hotel,... More

The hotel is central to the city,a short cab ride away from everything. Entertainment close by as well. The room not so great but at the end of the day it was cheap and you're only in there to sleep, shower and change before you go out.

I came down with my partner for my mums 60th birthday from Surrey, after travelling over 3 hours all we wanted was to get into the hotel and sleep, however this was not an option! My partner and i were at the front of the hotel and my mum at the back, we were on the third floor and every... More

We stayed in a family room last Saturday night. On arrival the reception staff were welcoming and most helpful providing information on car parking and directions. The room was clean and well presented. We did not suffer from any loud noise during the night, the only noise was from corridor doors closing on the Sunday morning presumably from people leaving.... When i arrived the room was like a sauna. There was a fan already on (not a good sign). I had to have the window open for the duration even though it was a city centre location with a building site outside. The receptionist informed me that all the rooms were to hot (something to do with insulation!) and looked... More

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We understand the importance of our customers being as comfortable as possible during their stay with us so it is truly regrettable to hear your room was too hot. While we do not provide air con, we do offer fans at reception and we also ensure curtains are closed... More

This is centrally located and perfect if you are visiting the theatre. We had a very happy, polite greeting from Tina. The room was clean with coffee/ tea supplied. The bed was fairly comfy (although I wouldn't want to buy the mattress as advertised in the room!) there are suitable restaurants close by and a car park (theatre royal) which... More

Travel lodge are always conveniently located and this one was the best example so far. We were going to see Derren Brown at the Theatre Royal and the Travelodge was literally around the corner and also just off of the town centre. We were genuinely warmly welcomed by the receptionist who also told us the best place to park. The... More

We booked our room about 6 months in advance and paid only 34£ per night for a family room. We didn't have high expectations, but were happy with what we got. The service was very limited, but the price and central location made up for that. I probably would feel less satisfied had we paid 75£ per night. The room... More
