I stayed at Derrys Cross Travelodge. It was good value for money, spotless and everything we needed. It was in a great location, right between the harbour and the Barbican, plus there's a Wetherspoons nearby for breakfast. All around good trip and pleasant stay

A fantastic two nights in a beautiful city. Despite no restaurant being attached to the hotel, there were plenty of alternatives close by. The new king size beds made sleeping easy and despite a broken shower when I first arrived, this was repaired promptly and even if this hadn't been possible, an alternative room was offered as a solution. Would... More

The travelodge in Plymouth was on the level on an average hotel. The location was close to the centre and sea so you could reach everything in a 15 minutes walk. The location doesn't make a good hotel though. My girlfriend and I were a bit disgusted by the bathroom situation. We found hair in the shower and dirt everywhere.... More

We found the hotel great value at £67 for the night. For this kind of hotel we found it pleasant. The bed was clean and comfortable, just what you look for when your looking for somewhere just to sleep. Pay on arrival, helpful staff, and when coming back later that evening, a 24hr snack service is available at reception (as... More

We've used travelodge hotels before so we know they're basic and a budget hotel, so we therefore don't expect it to be like the ritz. The derry's cross travelodge is ideally placed in the city centre close to all amenities, night club, cinema restaurants. the room was looking a bit tired, even though it says its been upgraded recently, referbed... Excellent Travelodge, as long as you remember to keep the window closed on Saturday nights as there is a lot of noise from a nearby club. With the window closed, there was hardly any noise and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to be right in the heart of Plymouth.

You get what you pay for, it was everything we needed for an overnight stay, very clean and the beds are great. One recommendation if you want a room without noise then ask for the top floor at the back. We didn't need to ask but overheard someone else ask and they were moved.

The hotel is situated very well in the city centre, this also leads to the only down side that it is a little noisy, but that was to be expected as you can't have both. The price was unbeatable, and being within 2 min walk of a wetherspoons made for a very economical weekend. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing pretty about this Travelodge. Built on roundabout so quite busy with traffic noise. Very central for Plymouth. Parking free from 10.00 pm - 8.00am otherwise not cheap. Clean and tidy! The entrance is to the rear of the building with drop off area.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s great to hear that you were happy with the hotels location, however we’re sorry to learn that external noise spoiled the comfort of your stay. Feedback is invaluable and we thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. More
