Just returned from another wonderful stay in the Jewells. Lovely room, spotlessly clean as usual, great breakfast freshly cooked, as much toast, cereal, tea and coffee as you require. Love staying here - Keith is a great host, friendly, helpful and funny! Love the banter between him and his right hand woman, Debbie! Hope to return for another stay in... More

A good night's sleep in a very clean room with a standard breakfast and a very pleasant host who recommended a nice place to eat. Just stayed the one night, but it gave me all I needed, and was conveniently situated between the station and my ultimate destination.

One night stay in march 2015, arrived mid afternoon on a sunny sunday, went in to inquire about availability.First impressions are vital, Keith (the owner) was friendly, down to earth, and extremely helpful, even though we interrupted him watching his beloved Chelsea (nobodys perfect !) showed us a lovely room (no 7 ) which was spotlessly clean warm, and smelt clean... I wasn't very impressed with my one night stay here. I appreciate I stayed there when it was very cold weather, but the room and en suite were not very warm at all. I found the bed uncomfortable and didn't sleep well. There was a unfinished mdf 'construction' in the corner of the room which was a bit unsightly. No... More

Recent overnight in Plymouth. Welcome was nice. Very Grand & stylish guest house. Room was lovely and comfortable with, thankfully, only two decorative cushions. Smart en-suite and usual facilities. Even an iron& board. Unfortunately, lacks off-street parking but ask hosts for £3 per day vouchers. Ideally situated for Hoe, Centre & barbican. Recommended.

I visited Plymouth from the 12th-17th of January, and booked into the Jewells Guest House. I was so taken by the place, my room(a double), was very clean and warm,(a must for the week I was there), the bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts were absolutely beautiful and always hot and delicious...The owners are very friendly. I would not hesitate... More

I booked in very late in the day at very short notice, within 15 minutes I was in my room, as I needed a room in Plymouth for business first thing in the morning. I had a warm welcome from the owner, a good size room, that was clean, tidy and tastefully decorated with an ensuite. Very good value for... More
