My husband and I live very close to Boringdon but love staying at this hotel. Their fanciful Fridays and sublime Sundays are great value for money. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. The food was amazing! Hats off to the chef and the team. We will be back soon.

Stayed for 2 nights in a family room ... Could not fault it...the room was massive, Only gave it a 4 because we had 4 spiders.. The location was good, staff so polite and helpful...Absolutely perfect. It is well worth the money and I could only imagine that a wedding would be beautiful there ..We would Definitely stay again.

Probably the best hotel we had stayed at during our Devon and Cornwall sojourn. Well appointed room interior amongst the well kept period features of the rest of the Hall. TV was a decent size and quality, and WiFi was free. Bed was firm, but not hard. However, the flag stones of the hotel floor are uneven, and there are... More

Upon arrival the hotel looks very impressive from the outside. This was obviously once a very imposing manner house. Unfortunately last weekend when we stayed there was a jazz festival going on in the grounds outside. It subsequently rained, so many of those people were inside the hotel. The hotel had told us that the festival was going on, but... More

We didn't travel far for our one night stay, we just needed to get out of the bank holiday busyness of Newquay. After hearing so many good things about this company's hotels in Newquay I thought we'd try Boringdon. Well, we were in for a treat, from being shown where to park to checking out we couldn't have been made... More

My husband booked a night at Boringdon for us for a night away. As we swept up the drive I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the hotel was. You can instantly feel how steeped in history it is, which I love. Our room was gorgeous. Lovely big airy room and bathroom and THE most comfortable bed I have slept... More

Quite an exceptional hotel from the outside with huge rooms internally. Staff friendly and informative. our room was a little basic, somewhat like a premier inn, the bed was very hard, which suited my wife but less so myself. The bar area is of historic interest, the sofas not all that comfortable. The dining area is really worth visiting and... More

Charming old property dating back to 987 AD; full of history in a quiet country setting. Our room across the courtyard was large with an equally large bathroom - all clean and comfortable. Drinks in the Great Hall lead to dreaming of being the lord of the manor. Dinner was on a balcony overlooking the Great Hall, and was quite... More
