Our wedding had been booked for 18 months and we had 3 different wedding planners but as soon as Ali joined we knew we were in safe hands. Nothing felt like a silly question or request and our wedding planning meetings were very thorough. Ali's attention to detail meant the day ran really smoothly and we were kept well informed... More

Have stayed here three times and have not been disappointed. This historic hotel is very well appointed with comfortable rooms, polite attentive staff and excellent food. We had dinner in the minstrels gallery on each occasion and were very impressed with the choice and quality of the food. Service was friendly and efficient. Nearby is Saltram House a National Trust property... More

A picturesque hotel about 5 miles out of the City and I was warmly greeted on arrival on checking in. I was given a family room but it was just about the furthest from the main reception which involved an amount of walking in the open which was not ideal in the rain. I was told that I would find... Found this by accident for a one night stay. The hotel is undergoing an expensive upgrade and all the rooms are competed and excellent although I found the bed hard. It is full of period featured and dinner in the minstrels gallery is a must - superb food and friendly staff. They are about to build a very fancy spa... More

My wife and I have stayed at Boringdon Hall twice now, both times have been great. The hotel and grounds are very good indeed, We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms which are spacious clean fresh and very comfortable. The reason for staying at Boringdon is because we are allowed to take our two dogs with us and apart... More

Rang last minute and was offered their Sublime Sunday package, £75 for 2 DB&B, pais an extra £10 and took the dog. Warm welcome on arrival, room not huge but very neat and with the bathroom impeccably clean. Dinner was very good a couple of small supplements on some dishes but we could chose from both menus. The food was... More

It is a beautiful old building with a really homely feel and the staff had a professional but friendly attitude that made the stay really relaxed. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The food was a bit dissapointing in the evening but there was a good selection for breakfast

My husband and I have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. The positives are that the hotel looks wonderful, our 4 poster room (11) was beautiful and had a claw-footed bath tub in the room and the food and service were very good. However, I felt that the hotel was let down by a lack of... More

Sadly only slept there as we were so busy and did try and book the next night but it was fully booked. Very much want to return to sample all the other delights that were only glimpsed .... The surrounding countryside is very impressive.
