Can't believe the response....room wasn't ready when we arrived and then when it finally was I received a call saying I had to return to London due to an emergency (close friend accident) and having only stepped one foot inside the they took one night off my card and wouldn't refund. It was empty and dead there anyway so I... More

Booked a romantic 2 night break. The room was huge with a super four poster bed and a roll top bath in the bedroom agree bottle of bubbly and some chocolates. The hotel is full of character with big oak doors and stone windows. The restaurant food was super with an intimate feel. We both had steak the first night... More

I had my amazing wedding here on 8th August and could not fault Boringdon Hall. The building has such history and character- it is beautiful. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Ali the Event's Manager is very organised and calm. The food was delicious as always and their high standard was not compromised because of such a large... More

Wonderful staff, food and rooms. Only downside no facilities for recreational activities ie pool, but overall a great place to stay. Wedding was superb but of course the weather helped! There was nothing that you threw at the staff that they couldn't cope with.

We went here for afternoon Tea and had a wonderful experience. It was £15 pp and this was a great price for what you get. I walked around the hotel and have to say to looks amazing and I wish I was staying here. We were looked after by Kristien. This guy is a huge credit to this hotel. He... More

I stop in Plymouth regularly and close to city centre and Only booked this hotel as everything in Plymouth was fully booked. I am regretting not trying this hotel before. What a wonderful place. It oozes character and rooms are better than most I could speak for in Plymouth, staff so very friendly, food excellent. The only draw back is... More

Another very good Friday night break. Accommodation is very good, the three course meal and extensive breakfast makes this a brilliant night away at a bargain price. The only downside having been before, make sure you check your bill for overpayment!

Very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. Beautiful building, enormous comfy bed....generous breakfast. The staff are lovely (shame I can't say the same for the very noisy guests one particular night, Thursday 7th August). The girl who banged on our door at 12.45 a.m. because she was obviously too drunk to know the difference....I hope you read this and learn... More

Booked at the last minute 5 days B&B with my wife. The hotel is about 5 miles out of Plymouth city centre. We had a lovely room in the courtyard block which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We did not eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The staff were very pleasant indeed and clearly... More

Came here from the 7-9th for family wedding. The hotel is amazing and because I was part of the bridal party I got to see the main room with the hot tub which was stunning.
