I travel to Plymouth almost every year and this is the first time in the Imperial and also the first time I have made the effort to rate accommodation. Everything about my stay was first class. High quality rooms, high quality breakfast (served swiftly and with a smile) and a great location. The main point I would like to make... More

Thank you very much for your review. With regards to the staff I would like to mention that Mike was Head Boy at school in the 70s which we think has stood him in good stead as General Manager of The Imperial. Look forward to seeing you again next year. x More

I recently stayed at the Imperial whilst attending a research workshop at that the MBA labs on the Hoe. The staff and management could not have been more helpful and the rooms, breakfast etc were superb. I would strongly recommend this hotel for leisure or business travel.

MY wife and I travelled up from Cornwall and stayed at the Imperial for a Saturday night as we were going to see Lion King at the Theatre Royal. We arrived early and went for a 10 minute stroll in the sunshine down to the Barbican looking for some lunch. Having returned and got ready for the theatre, it was... More

Fantastic hotel. Beautifully run by family. Lovely room, clean, spacious and well appointed. Close to shops and theatre. Very accommodating - arranged our meeting in afternoon and allowed parking while we went shopping. Have already booked to return later in April

A little gem of an hotel. Having stayed at larger chain hotels in Plymouth before, it was quite refreshing to find that breakfast & parking were included in the, very reasonable, price. Well located for us - close to the theatre - and all other attractions within easy reach. Good breakfast and friendly service & we will stay again when... More

I looked for somewhere close to the Theatre Royal, so that I could go to Welsh National Opera on foot. Lockyer Street is less than five minutes' walk. The Imperial staff were very welcoming, the room clean, bright, well appointed and blissfully quiet. (So nice not to have air-con, extractor fans or traffic noise....and no sound from adjacent rooms either.)... More

We enjoyed having you stay and pleased you liked Plymouth as much as we do. The Theatre Royal has some brilliant shows this year - you might like The Glyndebourne in November. Look forward to seeing you again. xx More

I have stayed at The Imperial a lot over the past 6 months through work and it has been an absolute pleasure each time. The family run business provides a warm and friendly atmosphere and the staff can't do enough to help you out. The rooms are all very modern and clean and all decorated with an individual twist. I...
