The Imperial Plymouth deserves every bit of credit. After spending Saturday night in the stunning grounds of Boringdon Hall with my girlfriend, we were worried our next day staying at the Imperial Hotel would be a disappointment. Quite the opposite! From start to finish the hotel was absolutely charming. From the homely rooms, to the brilliant location, the delicious breakfast... More

We stayed in the hotel on a Sunday evening. Room was on the first floor and was very clean and tidy. The ensuite shower room was lovely. Nice power shower. Bed was a little hard for my liking but my partner slept like a log and the down side was you could hear upstairs moving around and the pipes creeking.... More

Lovely hotel, lovely room, extremely friendly staff, close to town, the barbican and the light house. Room was delightful, bright, extremely clean and lots of room, also lovely ensuite bathroom/shower. Off road parking also a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed 3 nights while at a training event down the road. Hotel is fine - nothing wrong with it. Clean and comfortable. Had a big bathroom with natural light. The free wifi worked very well. The best bit was the Very nice owner. Can get cheaper accommodation, but we chose Imperial because it looked more comfortable and sounded like it had... More

The hotel was covered in scaffold when we arrived as it was being painted , so first impressions weren't great. However, inside we got a very warm welcome from the owner and staff. Cracking little hotel, smashing rooms with good size bathroom. Amazing breakfast scrambled egg with salmon - the best I've ever tasted. All the staff very friendly and... More

The Imperial was perfect for us. The bedroom was fine, the bathroom large and sunny. The staff was friendly and very helpful, giving directions for our walking and helping us with the local bus. Breakfast was good, laundry service very good. Scaffolding across the front was not pretty, but shows they do good maintenance and it will look great when... More

stayed for two night, staff very good, breakfast very good, great location for the hoe and barbican... however room number 5 had mould on the shower ceiling, the curtain rail was coming away from the wall and we we're next to the exit for the car park and directly under the breakfast room, so very noisy from about about 7am... Thank you for your review. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay overall. With regards to the maintenance issues we will add them to our ongoing programme and address immediately. The curtain was put back up last week but will need something stronger I think. Whilst room 5 is light and large we do have other rooms that may be... More

A friendly welcome with very helpful staff, and a good location near both seafront and town. Room and shower all clean and good, nice breakfast. Lived up to its reviews and we would definitely stay again. We also used the pool, spa and sauna at the Holiday Inn a couple of hundred yards away (and we could have used the... More

This was our 2nd visit and we will be staying there again when visiting family in Plymouth. It is in a good location for the sea and the city. Lovely room, tasty breakfast with plenty of choices and fresh fruit! Friendly people and very clean.
