We stayed three nights over the February half-term in a family room for 3 (Room 1 "St Ives") and thought The Imperial was a fantastic place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Louise, despite arriving very late on the Friday night. All staff we encountered were really polite, friendly and helpful. My daughter and I both need a gluten-free... We decided to stay in Plymouth on Valentines night, booked our room via Hotels.com, and paid a bit extra (£109 B&B) for what we thought would be a nice place to stay. It later transpired we could have booked direct with them for the price of £89, (but they still didn't do too badly out of the booking, as even... More

The most important point to make is that WE CERTAINLY DO CARE ABOUT THE COMFORT OF OUR GUESTS. It’s also good to recognise that sometimes money can be saved by checking with us direct on our website before booking online. Maintenance: is ongoing and thank you for pointing out these issues again – we will address them tout de suite.... More

Arrived at the Imperial and was greeted by helpful man on desk, showed us to our room. Room had clearly been recently renovated, I was particularly impressed by the finish of the ensuite, including the best shower I have used in a hotel, excellent heat control and powerful. Free wifi throughout the hotel was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, very... More

I needed a Hotel in Plymouth for the MD and myself near to the Barbican as we were entertaining customers for the evening, which we knew would involve alcohol, so somewhere in walking distance was high on the criteria. There is quite a choice of establishments in The Hoe area of the City but this one had too many good... More

I stayed here for one night recently. Our party booked a twin room and a double room. The staff were really friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast. It is a very short stroll to the Hoe and the lovely views there. I would definitely stay here again.

We chose The Imperial Hotel based on the high ratings it had received on Trip Advisor and also it's location. The only issue we had was parking at the hotel as it's fairly limited, especially with a 4x4 taking up two spaces :-D However it turned out that the street parking is free from 4pm until 10am the next morning,... Stayed at the imperial, recently for two nights. The hotel offered excellent value for money and the location is excellent both for the city centre but also for the front and the Barbican. Also very close to the theatre. The service was excellent throughout. My room was small but had everything necessary to make my business trip comfortable. The breakfasts... More
