Very clean rooms very friendly couple Andy and Dot great breakfast very helpfull with information could not have stayed anywhere better will certainly use again and reccomend to other people. more
Dot and Andy are the best hosts you could ask for. The house is spottless, has a nice garden and the breakfast is excellent. I would definately stay there again. more

Absolutely everything was perfect. Really good price, really good room, superb full English breakfast (including finding me Early Grey tea!) and really friendly hosts who managed to create a great atmosphere over breakfast with guests talking to each other (not an easy task with me involved because I am usually a grumpy old git first thing in the morning!). more
It was very nice staying at chester house plymouth the sevice was exerlant and dot and andy always make you feel at home i would recomend this guest house to everyone from brenda baker and terry more
We were greeted with tea and biscuits outside in the garden and made to feel right at home from the start. Andy went out of his way to ensure that we felt at home and to ensure that we knew the attractions of the town, the places to drink and the places to eat. I travelled with my father so we required two single rooms which at this time of the year was very difficult to find in plymouth but dot and andy acomodated by swapping things around and putting themselves out to make us feel at home and very welcome. The purpose of the trip was we had a family member in hospital... more
My husband and I stayed here in order to see a friend living nearby who was unable to accommodate us. All three of us were treated to Andy and Dot's wonderful hospitality throughout our stay; they went out of their way to look after us all. Full English breakfast is an understatement- it was fantastic! more
