As a regular business traveller, Plymouth makes a good base for my customers in Devon and Cornwall. This hotel is below the standard for the Holiday Inn brand hotels with rickety lifts and a very outdated 70's concrete exterior. If you're going on business the rooms are fine, but don't stay here if you are looking for a nice place... more

Plymouth's my favourite place and as a result I've stayed in most of the big hotels in the city. The Holiday Inn (as it's now known) isn't bad, but it is looking a bit shabby now. The rooms are OK, but could do with things like new furniture, which looks very 70's - not good for a modern hotel. The... more
