Previously stayed here in 2010 and again during August & September of 2013. Renovation work completed (refer to my last review) and an obvious change noted. I was met by Dave and Sally ...only to be notified that they had upgraded me to a double room at no extra cost. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea / Coffee making... More

Great place to stay if you're using the adjacent centre; pricewise worth the extra imo. Full English breakfast did not include any cereals etc which I'd normally expect at a B&B, but a plateful of good hot food - fair enough I suppose ; maybe they put out more food if theres more guests (we stayed Midweek). Id gladly stay... More

Stayed here not long ago, had a very clean, comfortable room with a double bed and lovely views of the large park just below my window. The owners were friendly and helpful which made my stay very pleasant. Peaceful, quiet area with lots of parking right outside the hotel, shopping area is within walking distance and the train station is... More

Sally and Dave were very welcoming and... More

As soon as i got there i was upgraded, which was a brilliant start to my stay! There is loads of parking literally right outside, and it overlooks a beautiful park, and the road is really quite. The room was big, clean and spacious, with a really nice en suite! Didn't expect much from the WiFi but it was relatively... More

Had a very nice stay during last August; a large tidy room with clean bathroom plus a gorgeous view down to the park. The owner couple were extremely friendly and I truly felt well liked. Will definitely be back the next time I visit Torpoint. Which is pretty soon.

Stayed from 7th to 20th of August 2010 through recommendation of a friend. Although Sally was away in Australia and Dave was having remedial work carried out to the stairwell during my visit, it did not detract from being a very pleasant stay. (Informed of remedial work taking place prior to my arrival and an offer of alternative accomodation if... More

In Plymouth recently I stayed,on a friend's recommondation, at The Mountbatten Hotel. I found a friendly, family run hotel in a peaceful, quiet location with a delightful view over the park. My en suite room was most comfortable and spotlessly clean and in the evening I was served with a very enjoyable meal with wine. Full English breakfast in the... More

A group of us took over 3 rooms here for 2 nights. We are divers so it was ideally located for the Sports centre where you can moor your boat. The room we had was reminiscent of a Travelodge or something of the sort. The beds were comfortable, had duvets not blankets and there was SkyTV and tea and coffee... More
