We stayed here for two nights during the Fireworks Competition in Plymouth - August 2015. As other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is in a lovely tranquil spot and on first appearances, hopes are high. However, the 'Superior' room we had paid for was right up at the top of the hotel, so we had to lug our cases up... More

The setting is stunning the building and grounds are beautiful staff friendly and helpful food excellent, an amazing wedding venue but don't come here for any romance as you can hear everything that's going on in the neighbouring rooms. We could even hear our neighbours snoring! Not pleasant this really did spoil our visit and even though everything else was... More

Very comfortable and Classy Hotel. The room are very well furnished. Most of the room have a nice view into the Country side. The Hotel is a renovated Country Villa, and have kept most of the old style charm. If you like the country you will love to walk this Hotel grounds.

I was looking forward to celebrating my birthday with my family at this beautiful historic building. However, as soon as we walked in, a member of staff walked straight passed all without any acknowledgement of our presence. We then had to seek out someone to explain we had a reservation and show us to our table. We were duly seated... More

Loved the gardens here. Apparently they have been renovated - last time I was here must have been 20 years ago so maybe they have. Menu is very different. Lots of combinations you can't really imagine till you try they them. I was a little worried at the size of the starter - twee was the word I used. But... More

I recently stayed at Langdon Court for 3 nights for the wedding of very good friends of mine. The location itself is stunning – the hotel is set in beautiful countryside which is very picturesque and is only a short stroll from the beach. However, it is also very quiet, making the overall experience very relaxing. The greeting I received... More

Stayed for two nights to attend a family wedding. After a lengthy, tiring 8 hour journey we arrived looking forward to finding a lovely relaxing room warranting its 4 * rating and expensive price. This was not the case. What we had was a very dusty, grubby room with stains on the carpets, walls, sofa and furniture. The bathroom floor was... More

Although only a short distance from Plymouth this hotel is in a lovely setting and only a mile walk to the nearest cove at Wembury. The room we had was beautiful, looking over a large pond to the front of the hotel. The bed was a little too hard for me, but my husband found it comfortable enough. We ate... More

When we were finally taken to are room there was a bottle to champagne on are bed which was lovely so when I went down stairs and asked about it we where told... More

We ate here on Fathers day, a little weary as we know how busy places can get on special occasions like such day. We happened to be the first table in so I'm sure it got busier after we had finished. Emma welcomed us and was most accommodating in helping to find my mother inlaw her acquired taste in wine!!... More
