The hotel was lovely and clean in a great location on the sea front, the staff were helpful and friendly and did a great job of organising the party. The food was great as we had a buffet with plenty of choice,we also had a private room with our own bar staff. The rooms were spacious and clean and would recommend this hotel... more

All you need, friendly staff, clean rooms, quite nights sleep. Stayed here on business and enjoyed the central location, reasonable price for room and food. No need to eat out if you are busy as the food was excellent. more

Spent a great deal of time selecting an hotel on the web, we were not disappointed with our choice of the Invicta. Great location, good food, nice people, couldn't ask for more. If or when we return to Plymouth there is only one hotel where we will stay. Don't look further for accommodation in Plymouth. more

Myself & my extended family stayed at the Invicta Hotel for two nights whilst attending my son's graduation. It was chosen initially due to the location, being very close to the Hoe. I found the staff very helpful & accomodating. The hotel was very clean, The food was excellent both the breakfast & the evening meal. All cooked fresh to... more

We stayed at the Invicta between 14th and 18th September for a short holiday. We found it excellent, the food was good, a high standard of cleanliness and the staff were very friendly. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone planning to visit Plymouth. Mr & Mrs D Reay, Bedlington, Northumberland more

Just spent two days at the Invicta Hotel in Plymouth - we were staying at Exmouth for a fortnight and thought we 'd break our holiday up by visiting Plymouth. We had a fabulous time and we can't recommend the Invicta enough. The staff were faultless and the hotel itself was really comfortable. Being pensioners the only down side was... more

My sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at this hotel for four nights at the beginning of September. The purpose of our visit was to see my Uncle and Aunt who live at Torpoint. We booked following good reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. Lovely room overlooking the Hoe, with en suite facilities. Both spotlessly clean. Nice sized... more

Sadly my mother had passed away and although she had lived in Yorkshire and Cornwall most of her adult life we wanted to celebrate her life as a "Young Plymouth lass". I couldn't be more grateful and appreciative to the lovely accommodating helpful staff at the Invicta Hotel. It was truly the best location as not only is Plymouth Hoe... more

Stayed there for one night while setting my daughter up at the University. As per other reviews the hotel is in an excellent location near the Hoe and the staff of very friendly. The room we had was a twin on the top floor. For £70 I would not say the room was anything special - very clean, beds a... more

I booked my night at The Invicta on-line from Australia, so had to trust the reviews and the feel of the hotel's web page. Every part of my stay was enjoyable. Being Australian I am used to a double room being the standard level of accommodation and I am still getting used to the European idea of a room with... more
