while the reception area was pleasant and the staff were friendly, we found the room disapointing. the furniture was grim and the bedding wasnt the best. we were quite cold in the night. The breakfast was pretty stingy too. we felt it was overpriced. more

When going to the theatre in Plymouth, the streets near the Hoe are full of B&Bs. This is the best we have tried. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Our room was quiet, new looking ensuite with plenty of hot water for a bath and a shower that worked fine. Breakfast the next morning was tasty, served quickly, and delivered with... more

We booked into the Grosvenor for our daughters graduation in Plymouth as the location of the hotel was just off the hoe where the ceremony took place. I booked a double room for us and a single room for my father. We stayed for 4 nights, it was very comfortable, clean and the breakfast was fresh and well cooked. The... more

A very pleasant, modern and friendly hotel, situated in a great location to explore the beautiful Hoe and Brabican area of the city. Rooms were clean and well decorated with a flat screen TV. Breakfast was great with tasty locally sourced ingredients. The staff were very good and extremely helpful. A great stay - highly recommended! more

Rooms very clean and comfortable and breakfast plentiful and tasty. I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to friends. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff took time out... more

My stay at the Grosvenor was a most enjoyable experience. The hotel looks cared for both inside and out and appearances are often good indicators of the standards set by the owners and staff. In this case it is true because from the time I arrived until the moment I left everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent... more

Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel location stone throw from sea front. Breakfast offers great choice of full English or any combination of the ingredients; also cereals and unlimited toast! Breakfast staff very accommodating, offering coffee and toast until your hearts content. Hotel clean and modern with fully equip en-suite rooms. I stayed in the family room which was a... more
