The lady on reception on Saturday night was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely, recently refurbed I think. We had the superior rooms on the top floor. No lift, so a bit of a struggle with bags. The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom very clean. The location is great for the Hoe and walking distance to... More

It felt well done and basic. Much brown and cream. Brightish lighting. However, I had the best nights sleep in a big comfortable bed and great linen. A clinical and efficient bathroom with a brilliant shower. The breakfast was excellent and efficient. All the staff were helpful and they all smiled. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Well done for... More

Excellent hotel modern stylish very clean and friendly helpful staff. Our room was on the small side, but we only stayed for one night to see a show at the pavilion which wasn't far to walk to. Found a parking space on the road directly outside the entrance. Lovely breakfast in the morning. I would return to stay again.

Well located providing everything you expect but nothing exceptional. The car park is limited but vouchers for on-street parking are available in reception. Sound insulation in the studwork partitions that divide some of the rooms is minima - have just listened to Gary Lineker and Match of the Day ! But the staff are helpful and friendly and I would... Hotel was booked for a friends wedding, staff were friendly, polite and helpful to all requests. Room was really nice, clean and well furnished. Breakfast was really good, with lots of choice available.

Really friendly and helpful staff make this hotel. Or room was adequate, didn't really have a view but as its so close to the Hoe you don't need one. The decor was very modern Breakfast was good. Parking not so good.

Even better than our last visit as it has extended into the next building making the already gorgeous facilities fabulous! We had a premium double (room 6) lovely bay window, comfy bed, great shower, plenty of milks and sugars for our coffee (usually never enough of those!). Bar staff friendly as were the other staff serving lovely breakfast the next day. Value for... More

My husband and I stayed two nights and I am glad we did. The room was large and nicely furnished. The staff was friendly and easy to talk with. They suggested restaurants, arranged transportation and attractions to visit. With a cooked to order breakfast included, the value of our stay was excellent. The Grosvenor Plymouth is within easy walking distance... More

I had a small room on the fifth floor and no lift!. Very quiet. The duvet was synthetic and rather hot but a substitute blanket was available. There was no telephone or contact with reception in the room. However it was good value with an excellent breakfast.Worth staying again but on a lower floor.

Thank you for your review. We do have 5 floors here at The Grosvenor, but unfortunately no lift. If we know in advance that stairs may be a problem we can do everything we can to accommodate you on a lower floor. We can also arrange for your bags to be taken to your room. I am glad you enjoyed... More
