If all guesthouse's were like this I would seriously consider selling my tent!, Dave and Paula are the most welcoming host's in the business and run a lovely home within a stones throw of the seafront, the rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed with flat screen TV's and tea, coffee etc and the breakfast is on an olympic scale. I... more

This is a traditional B & B down a quiet street that is run by a very friendly and helpful couple. We only stayed for a single night as we were cycling the Devon coast to coast from Plymouth to Ilfracombe. Our bikes were stored in the back of the hotel behind the garden shed which meant that they were... more

Just had to let others know about this litle treasure of a guest house. This was my second stay and I will definitely return. Paula and Dave, friendly proprietors, just can't do enough to please the guests. Rooms are comfortable, spotless and the breakfast is second to none. Located in a quiet street close to the famous Hoe, with on... more

We hopped from between B&Bs around southern England for two weeks, and Paula and Dave were the among the best hosts we had. Upon our arrival, Dave even insisted upon giving us a quick driving tour of the area. Much appreciated, Dave! Would definitely stay at Squires again if we find ourselves back in Plymouth. more

It is ideally placed for that, and also perfectly placed for Plymouth Hoe (we went to the Aquarium the following day) and the town centre(where we arrived by train). But it seems... more

I didn't want to write a review about this place because i wanted to keep it a secret! only joking. I was very lucky to be able to book a single and twin room just a few weeks ahead of the british fireworks championships. After reading the reviews on here I didn't think I would have a hope in hell... more

The Squires is in a prime location, our room was very clean and modern with a small ensuite, more like a small 4 star hotel room than your typical guest house room. We had complimentary toiletries and a well stocked hospitality tray. The breakfast was superb, excellent choice and cooked beautifully. Dave and Paula are very professional but are also... more
