I've been there twice the last few weeks for Christmas dinners and discos. Very well organised with menu selection reminders at your dining table. Food is very good and although the main course is pre-plated it's more than enough. The staff from reception to waitresses to the cleaners are exceptionally courteous and friendly. Rooms are large, very tidy, clean and... More

One night stay with friend going to Jools Holland at Pavilions. Had 206 - spacious 2nd floor room above main entrance. Great pre-show meal in brasseries - excellent value and lovely food. Will be back for that if I'm in Plymouth and needing to eat early, even if going home afterwards! Room excellent, clean and plenty room - king bed... More

Stayed here with my husband Saturday night, lovely big room(206),spacious bathroom and great powerful shower.Room was extremely hot which I didn't mind but husband did, couldn't turn the radiator down so had to open a window. My only moan was the room above sounded like there were a herd of elephants in there dropping an occasional cannonball on the floor!so for that reason... Christmas night out in the hotel restaurant. Have been to many of these over the years so had no great expectations. Wow, what a surprise! The meal was superb - beautifully presented and so tasty. If I was served this meal in any of the more expensive Plymouth restuarants I would have been more than happy. A meal at a... More

We stayed here this week while visiting our son at Plymouth Uni. The room was clean, relatively spacious and had everything you'd expect. The room was quite a long way from reception and the hotel itself is a bit of a maze. The Wi-fi also had some problems when we arrived. We were surprised arriving at about 1:30 at the bar... More

Car park was easy to access. Hotel lobby looked beautiful & nicely done out for Xmas. We were greeted by the lovely & helpful lady at reception who, despite being in the middle of about a million jobs, still made us feel very welcome. Room was warm, very clean, nicely decorated & the bathroom was big & lovely & the... More

We had a meal in steve's brasserie on Saturday evening before attending an event at Plymouth pavilions and if the food was as good channons service it would have been an excellent experience. However this was not the case the food certainly did live up to expectations. On arrival in reception a sad attempt had been made to make the... More
