Ignore all the negative reviews, yes the decor could do with updating but you get what you pay for here. We had club room 220 which came with wifi and drink on arrival for a £16 extra... Bargain! Spacious room, Very comfy bed, amazing shower and windows going most of the way round so nice and bright. Staff very friendly.... More

Booked on line and got a very good rate for one night B&B. However, ghastly place from the outside just off the ring road, we thought it was a multi story car park. Front entrance was not very welcoming, you had to drag your baggage up 2 flights of stairs. There was another entrance from the other side which was... More

For the first time ever, I booked a room using Expedia. I was reluctant to do this, as I had read of other experiences on TA forums, that you don't get very good service using a third party. But the price difference from the hotel's website, and Expedia, was too big of a difference to ignore. And the Canadian $... More

I stayed here recently with work and was very disappointed. The room was fine but there is a need for updating. The carpets were stained and the bathroom was very tired looking. The beds were comfortable enough and there were no noises heard from other rooms which was a bonus. The food in the restaurant was very disappointing, the steak... More

I would say this is an okay hotel but definitely nothing special, unique, interesting or otherwise noteworthy. The outside of the building is frankly gross and badly needs sorting out. The inside isn't so bad but it is very outdated. It is clan, thankfully. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Wouldn't wish to stay there again in a hurry but... More

Rooms are perfectly adequate. Has everything you need. No issues with rooms. Food was ok nothing special but perfectly edible. Staff very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very dated which sadly seems to be a theme with copthorne hotel although this one was slightly better than the one in Birmingham. Would have no issues with staying here again as... The hotel is clean and has a good location as well as excellent staff; however the decor is tired and the WiFi is really slow. I was allocated a club room, though this meant that I had a larger expanse of average accommodation. Storage space is poor in the rooms: only two drawers and a small wardrobe. Overall the plus... We stayed here for 5 nights, the staff were very helpful, Meals were well presented and of a good quality. Car parking 5.00 pounds per day a bit rough. The room was well laid out and plenty of room. Very central if you wish to drive around the Cornwall area

Stayed at the Copthorne over the bank holiday weekend for two nights. Reception team all very friendly and helpful and came across very genuine. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, of good cleanliness and well looked after. Beds comfortable and good pillows. The decor is a little dated however this did not spoil our stay and wasn't a big deal. Bathroom... More

For the price we paid for a Saturday night, we had a pleasant stay. Close to the centre of Plymouth, good nights sleep, very clean and helpful staff. Could do with a bit of a makeover but it does the job fine. Glad to see tea and coffee making facilities in the room and shampoo/body wash in the bathroom.
