Perfect night stay back in November...met up with another couple we all stayed here..very accommodating hosts...rooms superbly decorated and felt homely. Not too crammed like smaller b&bs so you can be as anonymous or as friendly as you like . Would definately stay again

Good location in pleasant historical part of Plymouth not far from city centre or routes out of the city. Started every day with cheerful amenable hosts serving a good breakfast. Possibly the best thing about Plymouth.

what a brilliant experience, been the first time we've stayed in a guest house, we were a little apprehensive, as soon as we walked in, all concerns faded away. What a lovely please, so cosy and homely, staff were amazing, food was brilliant, room was great. Will be staying here again.

In August my girlfriend & I went to Plymouth for a short break. We stayed at the phantele guest house. Stuart & becky smith keep a warm clean place. With bed & breakfast it enough to to start the day. Sight seeing around Plymouth or a ferrie ride to looe or visit the gin factory. With the hoe & exchange... More

I returned to stay in this B & B again this year, because I had found it so pleasant last year when I visited my friend in Torpoint. The décor is fresh, beautifully done and charming. All of the house is very clean, topped up with soaps etc, and nothing is too much trouble for the owners to do for... More

We stayed for two nights in the family room. It was cosy and comfortable and the owners couldn't have been more friendly. Breakfast was perfect. This children loved the freshly made pancakes. Our only problem was an alarm clock in our room went off at 6am. Digital clocks are no longer necessary with modern phones having everything you need. An... More

Friendly, affordable, clean, quiet and a nice breakfast to boot. Have been there a couple of times and would go back. My wife and I used it as a base while visiting friends. Had the option of trying other B and B's but went back a second because the overall experience was worth going back for. Marg and Lou

Stayed here whilst my daughter settled into University. Hosts great and friendly. Great breakfast and hospitality. Bit far out for me as I had no transportation so had to rely on taxi to get me to and from my daughters University accommodation. I thought overall it was very clean and would recommend this guest house.

Upon arriving at the guest house for a long weekend in Plymouth, whilst moving into university here, we were warmly welcomed. The guesthouse is family-run and this is very evident from the point of arriving, there is such a homely atmosphere and we certainly felt at home! Initially we were a bit worried about parking as it is located along... More
