The rooms are very comfortable and very clean, the proprietor is a lovely lady who cooks the most delicious breakfast I have had in a long time. There is a wide selection of cereals, fresh juice and fruit available for those who want a quick breakfast but the best value is to have the "Big Breakfast" which consists of sausages,... More

This was our second visit and we booked last minute so only had a twin without en suite , Wendy is a lovely warm and friendly host. The rooms are lovely and clean and well equipped. We stay here as it's 5 minutes walk from the Pavilions and 15 walk to the town centre. The breakfast is included in the price... More

Booked to stay here over the weekend. What a good find it was. Very friendly landlady who greeted us on arrival. She was great throughout our stay, although I rudely forgot to ask her name. The room was very quiet with an absolutely humongous bed which allowed for a great nights sleep. Best of all was the breakfast in the... More

A comfortable bed, a beautifully cooked breakfast with plenty of choices, that will keep you going all day, a very friendly cat, an informative landlady and close to the Hoe. It is also an easy place to park.

Recent stay at this "homely" guest house. Wendy was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and warm, the guest house is opposite tennis courts, and a short walk takes you right onto the west end of "The Hoe" so good location. The dining room has old and lovely furniture, and a board displays all your choices for breakfast from... More

Stopped here on a last minute booking while travelling with work. Price was cheap which normally leaves you in limbo with what quality you'll get. Pleasantly surprised very friendly welcome and building was clean and warm. Can't ask for much more. I had use of the shared facilities which were good. I didn't try the breakfast as I had to... This was the fourth occasion I have stayed here and every time I have had nothing but a positive experience. The service is top notch and Wendy is friendly and approachable. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are of a decent size, the breakfast is freshly made to your requirements and the room was cleaned every day. The decor... More

I booked this room for a friend who was travelling from Kent. I mistakenly went by the customer reviews and pictures supplied rather than looking at it myself. The place itself was spotlessly clean, I couldn't fault that at all, however, the decor was a little shabby at the room he was given was not really what I would call... More

A great night in Plymouth. It was a busy weekend and so we had limited choices. This place was friendly, smelt great and provided a very comfortable bed in a light and airy downstairs bedroom. The breakfast was yummy and the service very friendly. It was a great location for meeting our friends who were staying in different areas of... More

Not much to say really. Good value for a twin room with TV, wardrobe, shower en-suite. Decent breakfast. Some rooms have twin beds, some have double. Enough space. Overnight parking is on the street and depends upon availability. Day time parking permits available for £2.
