Paid an extra £10 as used Amex! Service in keeping with a cheap hotel. Toby all you can eat breakfast does not include juice or hot drinks which are extra. Parking good. Shower okay, no bath in room. communal hair-dryer so take your own if you are going to need one.

As travelodges go, this is a particularly good one. It has a large free car park, shared with the Toby next door, and spaces were available even at peak times. Our room was very clean and attractively decorated. The receptionist was very helpful with sound information and advice. The location is very handy for Plymouth as there is a park... More

We stayed for two nights with our children and had 2 family rooms. We have not stayed in this hotel since it changed from being an Innkeepers Lodge and I've got to say "what an awful change!" First sight of the room outlined the fact that the cleanliness left much to be desired. The shower grout was stained and mouldy... More

Greeted with a grunt at reception. We were allocated a disabled room that was practically in reception & it was awful! Extremely noisy & dirty! The room was of a fair size, tea & coffee provided. Bed was two singles put together, not great if you want to meet in the middle for a cuddle. Mess/dust on the floor, along... More

This was formally another brand of budget hotel so the rooms are very basic and the parking is a nightmare due to people parking in the Travelodge car park for the Toby Carvery next door but the staff are very helpful and polite (my heating didn't work and they were apologetic and pleasant). The rooms are very basic (no sofa... More

Good hotel but very basic reception staff helpful. Breakfast was over in Toby cravery but only a cooked breakfast available but good value. Room was very basic but at 19 pound a night is acceptable, not cleaned on each day just your bed made bins emptied and coffee topped up.

Stayed in the Plymouth Roborough Travelodge the first weekend of November, I have stayed here before and I must say I was most disapointed this time. I had a room in the front of the lodge which is very close to the main road and the road noise does keep you awake, my tip would be to ask for a... More

Stayed here for 1 night to attend a graduation. The Travelodge is easy to find on the outskirts of Plymouth. Its opposite the Park and Ride into town; and handy for trips to Dartmoor and other areas. The room was the normal Travelodge layout, but with a shower rather than a bath. The walls were painted neutral cream colours, with... More

I dont expect luxury for about 50 quid a night but one tiny bar of soap, cobwebs on all the room lights, broken back of chair (room116) and very poor decoration including patched up sections of wall/paint and generally pretty grim. Receptionist was lovely and done her best - I actually felt sorry for her. Water pressure in shower was... More

One night stop off here so I wasn't too fussed, just so long as I got a comfy nights sleep. It's off the main A-road running north-south in Plymouth so theres some traffic noise but its not too bad once the traffic calms down through the night. Reception was friendly and check-in quick and easy. Used to be an Inkeepers... More
