We recently spent four nights at this lovely B&B. The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. Nice en-suite, although the shower could be improved by upgrading to a power-shower. Lovely choice of items for breakfast, which were well cooked and started the day off just right. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and this is... More

Thank you for your review, we're happy to hear you had a good stay. There should have been handsoap and shampoo in the room, so I will check to make sure they are being topped up - thank you for letting us know. More

This is a lovely place to stay, the house is fantastic with wonderful high ceilings. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room even though we had arrived early. Our room was really spacious with an enormous bed and a leather sofa to relax on. Nice big bathroom and everywhere spotless. It's positioned just right for the Hoe, the... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay - our Superior Room and the public areas on the ground floor do have impressively high ceilings! The upper floors have more standard Victorian proportions but also offer the comfort and cleanliness our guests expect from us. We hope to welcome you back in the future. More

I stayed here for two nights in June. My single room was relatively small and quiet with an en-suite bathroom. It was on the second floor (so if you mind stairs beware). The room was quite basic but I don't need frills and to be honest it had everything that I needed including a very comfy bed so I slept... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night, mid June, on a business trip, so it was a limited visit. The room I had was very basic and to be honest I was very disappointed with it. My room was on the 2nd floor and was a single room with en-suite, which was all very clean and tidy but lacked... More

It is good to hear that you appreciated the service level, location, breakfast and parking facilities, but I'm sorry you were unhappy with some aspects of your stay. I will look at the door closers - they do periodically need minor adjustment although it’s a fire safety regulation that they force the doors to close fully. We're happy to listen... More

Close to the Barbican. 20 Minute walk to rail station through town centre. Clean, quiet and roomy. Address is centrally located and close to pubs and restaurants. Would stay again. Breakfast was very good standard. Owners helpful with info on city.

This family run bed and breakfast is exactly what you expect: cosy rooms in a beautifully decorated house and friendly staff. It's not fancy and you can't get picky but it's comfortable and everyone is now than happy to help you out. We stayed here over a bank holiday weekend for a lazy trip.

Young couple running a friendly guest house just where you want to be near the centre of Plymouth. Off street parking a free bonus. Comfortable and most acceptable but somehow no "wow" factor to qualify for the fifth star.

But the 'wow' factor for me in your review is the fact you called us 'young' - do come back again! More
