A few of us local driving instructors hold a breakfast meeting here every 6-8 weeks and we are always welcomed by the staff & the value for money is extremely good as it is also all you can eat! On occasions it can be quite busy as it's also quite popular but you will always find a seat & the... More

Booked a table on a Sunday afternoon and was glad we booked! Very popular place which has good customer service and good food! Lovely carvery and very generous size dessert too.... The only bit I was disappointed with was the selection of veg, I personally love veg and so enjoy quite a variety buy there was only peas, carrots and... More

Having had had previous positive experience at this Toby in 2014 we were shocked having been again several times in 2015 thinking that perhaps the timing of our visit may help get a fresher meal however even at peak time we were proved wrong. The problem was not the meat or Yorkshire which are good the sweet potato or cauliflower... More

We were staying at the travelodge down the road and decided to go to the Toby carvery for breakfast. I've got to say I couldn't fault it, we really enjoyed the breakfast and there was enough choice for us. The breakfast set us up for the day. We got the unlimited tea/coffee for £1.99 which I think is really good... More

This restaurant used to have a good reputation in Plymouth. We were very disappointed! The vegetables had not been cooked properly and were inedible. The choice was not as had been advertised and the service was poor. Will not be going back!

An as much as you want to eat breakfast. Very popular with long queues when I was there. But standard quality with a few items on the menu missing. Poor turn over on the carvery leading to more waiting as customers waited for food items-especially the eggs. Sounds cheap but add on the drinks and the same as an all... More

Stayed at the Travelodge next door. Went to eat at 8pm. Carvery was awful. Dried up, only choice of 2 meats available, not as advertised. They do food until 10pm so goodness knows what it would be like by then! Staff very offhand. Would have rather had a picnic in my room!!

Just live up the road and visit regularly for breakfast. The 'all you can eat' breakfast is fantastic value for money at £3.99 each. You have the choice of at least 10 items and can go back as many times as you like, also for £1.99 you can have unlimited coffee/tea refills and children unlimited coke refills. The quality of... I write this review purely as local, looking for a place to pop in and have a quiet drink. Having frequented this pub quite a few times over the past 20 or so years, this was my first visit since Travel Lodge took it over. It soulless. It's baron. It's sad. No atmosphere in bar what so ever. So many... More

So we stayed down the road from here & decided to come for breakfast. All you can eat buffet for £3.99. When we got there we did have to wait a while to pay as there was only one lady on the till & there was 17 of us! (4 paying families) All the food was hot and filled up... More
