It's very clear to see why Barbican Reach is receiving so much positive feedback and praise from all over. Rob makes you feel very welcome from the start with an engaging personality and really nothing is to much trouble. Upon entering he offered to help take our bags but what most impressed me was that he asked us what time... More

We stayed for one night in the cosy attic room which was fantastic and great value for money. It was so close to everything we needed and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was unique and very tasty with all the usual breakfast items on offer as well. We Would definitely stay here again.

Home from home short stay in Plymouth. Rob and his wife made us so welcome. Clean fresh room, plenty of hot water and clean towels. Breakfast is very good and served with a smile. I would recommend that you give Rob a call directly if you want a comfortable and welcoming place to stay that is also very good value.... More

Stayed overnight with my family. Rob and Sue were extremely welcoming and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The Hotel is in the City Centre but tucked away so you have all the conveniences but with a quiet location. If I am in Plymouth again I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for two nights, the owners are really friendly and make you feel at ease and at home straight away. No complaints about the room, it was comfy and had good views. The breakfast was lovely. The owners know the area really well and were happy to advise about restaurants etc. I would definitely stay again.

Just returned from a two day visit to Plymouth to meet our daughter who is in the Navy. Rob and Sue's B&B was just lovely. The accommodation was spot on, clean, homely and very welcoming. The location is excellent for the bars and pubs in the Barbican which is just a 5min walk away. Breakfast was great as was the... More

We came back to Plymouth for a conference and wanted a B&B close to the Hoe and the Barbican. We got the large upstairs front room. Rob and Sue were very gracious and helpful. The "custom" breakfasts were amazing; enough to get you almost through the day until dinner! Walk down the way to the Queen's Arms (their "local" pub)... More

As an occasionally visitor to Plymouth over the past few years, I had come to meet Rob at “his office” and, after the first occasion, Rob had showed me around the Barbican Reach as I passed by the following morning having stayed local. Unfortunately each time I tried to book - the guesthouse was full. That sort of says something... More
