This guest house is in an ideal location, tucked away behind the Barbican, close to the Plymouth Hoe and near to the city centre. We were given a friendly welcome and our room was clean, comfy and up to date. The highlight was a very tasty breakfast where we could choose from a selection of ingredients for our fry-up, which... If you are a professional contractor looking for a long term place to stay in Plymouth, I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Having never considered staying long term in a B&B, I will seriously consider whether to stay in a large hotel chain ever again. The bed was very comfortable, shower was great, breakfast was fantastic and the place... More

Booked to stay here recently as we were visiting Plymouth to spend a night at the Theatre and to do some shopping. The Guest House is well situated and you do not need to use your car to visit the City Centre, Barbican or the Theatre Royal. The Guest House itself was very clean and the room although a little... We stayed here as we decided to have a night out in Plymouth for a change. Rob was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful information and pointed us in the direction of where we were eating that eve! The room was spotless, warm and very comfy and seeing as the place is right in the centre of the... More

We were down to visit Plymouth Uni. Rob made us very welcome from the off, pointing us at the local restaurants to try and to avoid! Rob and Sue took great trouble over a very good breakfast. They were keen to make sure that there weren't too many breakfasts at once to make sure we all got a freshly made... More

Went to see the Lion King at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth (outstanding) and were fortunate to book a room at the Barbican Reach. From the moment we arrived Rob & Susan, the owners, we're the perfect hosts. Our luggage was taken to the bedroom which was large, warm and well appointed with coffee/tea making facilities and biscuits. All the... More

Set just off from the town centre and right next to the harbour -this wonderful little B&B is a perfect getaway. The service is fantastic, the rooms are clean and brilliant value. The owners are very attentive and accommodating. The breakfast was good quality freshly cooked. Will be returning!

I stayed at the Barbican Reach just before Christmas with my fiancé and it was excellent. We chose the attic room and couldn't fault it. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The really powerful shower was a bonus. We were able to view some other rooms too and they were also incredibly clean. The location was great and... More
