My wife and I stayed for two nights 1st August. When we arrived Andy was on hand to welcome us and showed us to a stunning room with a fab wet room. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and all freshly prepared. Five minute walk to bars & restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. Andy was so helpful from the minute we arrived and had so much advice and local knowledge to share with us, which gave us so much to do on our trip there. The breakfast was worth waking up for, with a selection and food sourced locally. We stayed in... More

My first time in a B&B ( I normally stay in hotels). My first time staying solo anywhere. Great hosts, great breakfast, beautiful views, comfy stay. I picked this B&B because of the reviews on here and wasn't disappointed . Fabulous hosts that made you feel very welcome, great selection at breakfast. I would defiantly recommend the B&B and the... Just got back from our stay at Woodlands and what a find! Andy our host could not have been more helpful, from taking our sopping wet motorcycle gear to dry in the drying room, offering us a cup of tea/coffee on arrival, providing good local knowledge of the area and eateries to booking an evening meal for us at a... From beginning to end our stay was faultless. Andy was the perfect host, providing lots of useful Information and local tips. Our room was large, stylish, spotless and comfortable. The badger made an appearance under our window on the second night. A very peaceful spot with restful views and a pleasant walk along the upper path to Lynton. Breakfast was... More

Woodland Guesthouse is just perfect. The whole house is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and designed. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were made using excellent locally produced ingredients. The cooked breakfast was delicious as were the fresh fruit and yogurt. It was just a short 10min walk into the town and walks up onto Exmoor and along the... More

Not much to say except probably one of the best places I've stayed in the UK! Been a couple of times on a review from my parents. Such an idyllic place to stay and get out of the city. Breakfasts are a real treat and the owners are really helpful in advising where to go and eat. We will be... More

What a charming place to stay, set in a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owners are lovely and the guest house is also maintained to an excellent standard. We are looking forward to going back this year.
