We located North Walk House from an old Alistair Sawday book. The ownership had changed without us knowing it. As it turned out we could not have asked for more from Ian and Sarah. From the point of our telephone booking to our breakfast the service was fantastic. We booked the Turquoise room. It is worth booking a room with... More

My partner had spent a happy few days writing here last summer, so we came again after I'd played cricket at the stunning Valley of the Rocks ground nearby, treating our daughter and fiance to a night away. The location is spectacular- a wonderful view looking down over the sea all across to Wales. And you can walk easily on... More

Thank you for your kind comments, it was good to meet your partner again and to hear that the novel she worked on while she was last here, was so successful. We are glad that your daughter and her fiance enjoyed her stay in our best room. We think it is a pretty special place too and enjoy sharing that.... More

This was our first visit to North Walk House and we were not disappointed. everything about it was great. Smart rooms with comfy beds, immaculate bathroom and a view from our window ( Turquoise ) was to die for. The hosts, Sarah and Ian, made everyone feel at home and the home cooking,(breakfasts by Ian, a double yoked egg every... More

A view to die for, the most beautiful room and the best of breakfasts. All in a wonderful area. The highlight of our trip so far. Thanks Sarah and Ian, what great hosts. Thanks for the advice in walks and local restaurants. Can't recommend this place too highly.

We were greeted on arrival by Ian and Sarah, who are truly wonderful hosts. Our room had stunning views of the coastline and nearby Countisbury Hill, and was comfortable and beautifully appointed, with a modern en suite shower room. Nice touches on arrival included tea and home made cakes. The location is easily accessible to Lynton and Lynmouth, and the... More

We stayed one night in North Walk House. It is beautifully located with magnificent views from the terrace overlooking the Bristol Channel - a perfect setting for a delicious breakfast on a really hot Sunday. The room was delightful - comfortable, spacious, very pretty. The evening meal was served at a large refectory table so we were able to share... More

A country house hotel, pint sized! and perfectly placed for the South West Coast Path. You will not be disappointed. Our room was very comfortable, the shower drenching and hot, the radiators piping, the duvet super warm. Faultless food and a snug lounge with open fire. Thoroughly recommended.

I can only wholeheartedly recommend this b&b. Its rooms are tastefully decorated and some of them have a stunning view on Bristol Channel. On a clear day you can see all the way to Wales! Sarah and Ian are wonderful hosts always ready to help and advise. The breakfasts are varied and keep you going well into lunchtime. On days... More

We had a wonderful stay at North Walk House - a lovely Victorian house impressively furnished with every comfort and query catered for. The food was delicious, the bed luxurious (need a duvet like this) fab coastal walks, one starting from Ian & Sarah's garden, a terrace of bright flowers overlooking the sea - generous and welcoming hosts. Lots to... More
