What a wonderful place to stay everything you could ask for although I find myself somewhat perturbed at a previous review, some of which was definitely right but there are a couple of things I feel were maybe somewhat unfair we were at Highcliffe at the same time as the Wanderer and my wife and I couldn't find any reason... Just spent a very pleasant 3 nights at Highcliffe House. Excellent views and great breakfasts to set you up for the day. Unobtrusive hosts who were available as and when required giving helpful tips on local places of interest and eateries!!

We stayed for a short weekend break in mid October, and found the accommodation to be clean and spacious with all the usual accessories expected in 5 star "gold" premises. Our room (The Cleeves) was situated on the second floor with great views across the bay towards the Welsh coastline. The room was nicely furnished with a super king size... More

Three excellent nights spent in Highcliffe House at the end of August 2015. A fabulous establishment pitched high up on the cliffs behind Lynton, with marvellous views out over the sea. Karen and Mike must be complemented on the excellent presentation of their B&B from the bedrooms to the breakfasts - every effort was made to make our stay a... More

Just finished a 4 night stay at the Highcliffe. The location and views are 2nd to none. The residence itself is spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard with breakfast being outstanding. Top tip... Order the eggs benedict! The hosts, Mike and Karen are extremely personable and keen to ensure your stay is everything you'd want it to... More

We stayed at Highcliffe House for a total of 3 nights as a couples weekend and to 'run out' the drop tops for what was hopefully a sunny weekend and it was just that indeed. Highcliffe House is run by Karen and Mike and it is an absolutely lovely place all round. It was extremely clean, beautifully decorated with much... More

We've stayed 3 nights at Highcliffe. Our room was incredibly clean and beautifully furnished. The proprietors are so very gracious, flexible, welcoming, and easy-going. The breakfast menu is diverse and consistently delicious (the view from the breakfast room, whilst enjoying your cooked to order food is remarkable) Their attention to detail: in-room coffee press, robes, helpful directions/guide to enjoying the... My husband and I stayed at Highcliffe House for our first wedding anniversary and it was just perfect! The house has such an old Victorian charm to it and the views are beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, I had eggs benedict one day and pancakes the next - both wonderful. Karen and Mike were great hosts and there’s such a... More

The breakfast choices were amazing, everything was so fresh and homemade which made you want to go back for more. We felt totally pampered.
