We have just returned from a short break in Lynton where we stayed at Highcliffe House. What can we say....a superb luxury end B&B with lovely hosts. Our room was top notch with a small balcony and superb panoramic views down to Lynmouth, across towards Hollerday Hill and out across the bay. The room was superbly equipped and very clean.... More

We stayed at this magnificent B&B whilst touring the SW England and what a lovely place it was. The Bedroom we had faced the back of the house where it was only nature.. The rooms are best described as taken straight from a home catalogue. The room had a shower as thi is what we requested, it had all the... More

quiet and gorgeously scenic, with many lovely walks nearby. Hosts are very welcoming and the rooms extremely comfortable - our room had an enormous bed. Lots of local places to eat and some tourist attractions to visit if the walking gets too much

We loved our stay at highcliffe while walking the coast path. Mike and Karen couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful (from hot tea and scones when we walked in cold and wet, to explaining the marine forecast to us when we were trying to figure out if the weather would stop us walking the next day). The view from... More

We stayed here for Tracey's birthday and an escape. We booked based on reviews and it was way beyond our already high expectations. All the usual things you expect are there and without exception are all of a very high standard. I have never been to a cleaner room and so much attention to detail. Where have you been that... More

I have nothing but praise for Karen and Mike. We stayed 3 nights and had a really relaxing stay. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the views are great. We particularly enjoyed Karen's cooking and eating breakfast looking out at the magnificent view. You are ideally placed to walk to the restaurants and pubs down the hill.

We stayed here for two nights on our mini moon and I have to say I was really impressed. Firstly it started before our stay when Karen and mike sent an email of places to eat and directions, such a lovely personal touch. We arrived at the b&b and were immediately greeted by Karen who congratulated on our wedding straight... More
