We had a three night break at Lee House, and were disappointed to have to leave. Ken, the Hugh Grant lookalike and waiter, and Caroline, the glossary of information and superb cook, are excellent hosts. The room we had overlooked the front garden and village, and had a small balcony. The bed was large and extremely comfy, the room very... More

Just returned from a mini break at Lee house. A gem of a b&b with nice hosts, Ken & Caroline. Beautifully furnished bedroom with high quality shower room en suite, superb breakfasts, beautiful area and lovely restaurants in the village. Well recommended and we hope to return some time.

I can't give Lee House or it's owners anything less than the highest rate possible. Excellent hosts, clean and tidy house and rooms, very comfortable beds, tranquil, free wi-fi, excellent food cooked to perfection. I am a repeat costumer, this is my third year and I look forward to staying with Ken and Caroline every year. Looking forward to next... More

Just returned from another week with our brilliant hosts (and now dear friends), Ken and Caroline. A very warm welcome as usual, everything spotlessly clean and breakfasts cooked to order faultlessly too. Nothing too much trouble..infact our hosts go over and above their duties. Caroline even arranged an Exmoor safari with a ranger, by land rover which was well worth... More

A wonderfully friendly welcome from Caroline and Ken, who made us feel completely at home in their lovely guest house and for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had a nice, comfortable room and a delicious cooked vegan breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again and highly recommend Lee House; however, I almost always holiday with my dog and... More

After a very difficult few months we needed a well-deserved break. I have to say we could not have chosen a better B&B or location. Caroline and Ken were the most welcoming hosts; they genuinely cared about all their guests. We stayed in the Garden Room; this was nicely appointed and had its own private garden area. (Just right to... More

6 Aussies set out to explore The West Country and Lee House was the perfect base. Such a wonderful place - the owners made us feel instantly at home and couldn't do enough for us, the setting is beautiful and Lee House itself exudes charm and warmth. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked and the menu was surprisingly comprehensive. Interesting... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Lee house and would like to say what a lovely b&b it is. We would really recommend it to anyone. Yummy breakfasts and really welcoming hosts in Ken and Caroline. The room was spot on and was rearranged especially for our request. We were given advice on the local area, where to eat and... More

Better than staying in a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was great and both Ken and Caroline were great hosts giving us a tour in words of Lynton and Lynmouth and surrounding areas of Exmoor. A perfect stay for both my partner Mary and myself and doubt we will stay at Lee House again in the foreseeable future.

Spent 2 nights here this week. Absolutely superb. Very clean and tidy. really good breakfast with lots of choice. The view from the room was exquisite and Caroline & Ken were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely try to book here again next time we visit the area.
