Another wonderful stay at Jay Cottage being looked after by Gary and Debra. This really is a great place to stop – very comfortable rooms with lovely views and an excellent breakfast that sets you up well for walking, a cosy lounge for a relaxing evening sitting by the log burner and spotlessly clean. Gary and Deb are excellent, friendly,... More

This was our second visit, once again a warm welcome from Debra and Gary. This is like home from home, wonderful breakfast, and a very comfortable room. All your needs are catered for, nothing is too much trouble, and your hosts are helpful and friendly. This is such a lovely area, plenty to do and see ! We would recommend... More

We stayed at the self catering cottage next to the B & B. Although it is a small cottage, it is very quirky and has everything you need. Our hosts were lovely and very knowleagable about the area. Great value for money. All in all a great holiday.

We decided to travel up the coat on our way home from Cornwall. This was to avoid the weekend traffic jams and it worked. This hotel was a lovely place to stay on the route home. Only a pleasant few minutes walk from Lynmouth and a lovely hotel too.

Had a wonderful time in June staying in both the B & B and the self catering cottage. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners - the pot of tea in the lounge when we arrived was a nice treat. The four poster room is really pretty and comfortable with a spotless ensuite. A delicious breakfast is served in... More

Great, quirky, self-catering cottage, with everything you need and more. An ideal location to explore the north Devon Coast. Hosts Debra and Gary were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The history of Jay cottage is amazing. Thanks both for a really good week.

Stayed here for one night in July. We had a lovely room, good facilities and friendly hosts. Fabulous little Thai restaurant two mins walk away. It's a short drive into Lynmouth which is well worth experiencing, but make sure you have a good gearbox for getting back up the hill!

A really beautiful place with a mix of pretty cottages and a running river in earshot. Very close by is a nice riverside pub which is also a Thai restaurant which has a great reputation. Jay Cottage is a very well run, extremely friendly, spotlessly clean, and a faultless breakfast with the best sausages I've ever had! I have a... More
