We stayed here for a 4 night break in June. It really is the perfect place to get away from it all and left both my and my partner not wanting to leave. Debra and Gary are amazing hosts and really do make you feel welcome and very much at home. Breakfast was perfect, not too much and kept you... More

We stayed at Jay Cottage for a 2 night short break. The owners will make you feel at home and back this up with excellent and professional, personal service. A clean room, comfortable bed, outstanding breakfasts, character location, plus tea on arrival - what else do you need? Jay is a great base for walking or just taking time out.... More

Breakfast is amazing, and the rooms are very nice. The couple that own the b & b are also so lovely. I have never written a review before but I thought people should know this place is worth a visit. Such a great location if you want to get a way from the madness for a while.

We stayed 3 nights in the small but perfectly formed S/C cottage apartment and it was just right for us. We arrived quite late, so It was great to find eggs, bacon, marmalade, multi-grain bread and butter all fresh and ready for us to use as we pleased next morning, also tea, coffee and milk. Great little patio with table... More

We received a very warm welcome on arrival, along with a most welcome pot of tea served in the guests sitting room. The nearest pub, within walking distance, is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays when "out of season", but we were recommended to try the Blue Ball Inn at the top of Countisbury Hill where we had an excellent evening... Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such a positive review. It was very nice to meet you both and we hope to see you again. I do feel, however, that I need to correct just one thing you mentioned and that is with regard to our guests parking. Paul and Clare, the owners of our... More

My wife and I went here for a small getaway and couldn't recommend the place more. The cozy well appointed apartment was immaculately presented. The hosts were friendly and approachable. The cottage itself was a terrific value situated within walking distance of trails, a great pub (The Bridge Inn), and the town of Lynton. I highly recommend this cottage!
