We had a wonderful welcome, comfortable stay and lovely food. What more could you ask for? From the moment we arrived Tricia made us feel at home. The bedrooms were a good size and he beds very comfortable. We had the use of the lounge if we wanted to use it. I'm sorry we couldn't stay longer and look forward... More

Very comfortable guest house located in the lovely little town of Lynton. Tricia looked after us so well and made sure all our needs were catered for with the motto "If you don't ask, you don't get". Breakfast was great and there was a great menu for cooked options. Big portions too! We always left well fuelled for the day... More

Trish and Granville run a tight ship that offers all the main ingredients for a pleasant break. The bedroom that I stayed in was always kept clean and everything that one normally requires was on hand. All towelling was changed every 2 days during my 7 day holiday. Breakfast was all that I needed and was plentiful in supply as... More

I have just spent an excellent week at Kingford House with a friend, and I can't praise highly enough the efforts of Tricia and Glanville to keep us well fed and happy throughout our visit. We managed to have five dinners there, and each one had us drooling ! You must try the carrot and orange - though it is... More

Our first stay with Tricia and Glanville at Kingford House where we met up with friends for four nights. Situated on level ground within a reasonably short walk to the Cliff Railway down to Lynmouth. We had a warm welcome with tea in the lounge and a lovely ensuite bedroom on the second floor with an excellent view. Stairs to... More

Just returned from our sixth visit to this great place. Nothing is too much trouble for Trish and we never think of trying anywhere else. My husband had mobility problems and Trish and Granville always seem to be able to anticipate our needs. Everything is spotless and the food superb. Do try the evening meals if they are available, you... More

Kingford House in Lynton was very cosy and clean. The service was impeccable and the breakfast great. They were lovely and helped us find a place to eat when we arrived late in the afternoon. Beautiful surroundings! The only downside was bad internet- and TV-connection, but this went for the whole town as far as we could tell.

We had a very enjoyable 3 nights' at Kingford House despite the weather. We were warmly welcomed by Tricia with a pot of tea and cake. Our room was extremely well presented with a very comfortable bed, quality bed linen, towels, toiletries and hospitality tray. A lovely extra touch was a fridge on each landing for fresh milk and anything... More

Trish & Granville, thank you so much for looking after us. From the moment you opened your home to us we felt welcomed and cared for. A nice pot of tea and a slice of cake was most welcome after our long journey and your help in advising us where to eat in Lynton made for a good evening out.... More

Spent one night in this lovely B&B last month during a trip in South England. Cosy and superclean room, excellent breakfast (with a restaurant-like menu to choose from), warm welcome and friendly care during the stay. I surely recommend this place, definitely worth seeing! Hope I'll be back soon. Stefano
