I required a single room that evening and was allowed to check in at Rockvale at 11am. The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast was made exceptional by the fresh egg from the owner's hens. The day after I had stayed there, I received £4 in the post, because she had inadvertently overcharged me-refreshing honesty!

Stayed for one night in April ready for the Exmoor Endurancelife coastal trail series marathon. Welcomed by Heather and given a lovely single room. Very comfortable, clean and warm. Breakfast was served by Alwyn, who at late notice got up to serve breakfast at 6am ready for me to go to the event! Would definitely stay there again!

We were only able to stay one night but have already booked a longer stay for next year. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and our hosts helpful and friendly. Looking forward to next years visit.
