My partner and I stayed at this charming little B&B for 2 nights during August. We stayed in a riverview room with balcony (room 4 i think!) and was definately worth paying a little extra for. Although the weather was a little changeable it was lovely to sit on the balcony at the end of a long days walk, enjoy... more

Just returned from a 3 night break at this hotel. It has a relaxed informal atmosphere and the owners were very welcoming and great with our son. What a great breakfast too, it got us off to a great start each morning. We stayed in room 2 and would have preferred a sea view but our son enjoyed watching the... more

We had already stayed 2 nights in Lynton but wanted to move down to Lynmouth to be near the sea for an extra night. After phoning around we were struggling to get in on a Friday evening. We had already called this hotel and they had just let their last room, however within an hour they called me back and... more

I came for a nice weekend away with my husband after finding this little gem on the internet. We had very friendly and helpful service from arrival to departure. The room was so sweet, it really felt like home from home. We did have to wait a few minutes for our breakfast but it was very scrummy. We had some... more

We stayed in a room with a balcony. Would highly recommend this, lovely views of the sea. Great location in Lynmouth, which is a very pretty/cosy tiny seaside town. Rooms were a bit small, but big enough to do the job. Bathrooms were fairly basic. I suspect the rooms could be much cleaner...I am allergic to dust....every time we closed... more

Management response from
Richard Barnes, Owner

While I have every sympathy for Aussieopinions allergies I would refer you to other reviews posted where when mentioned cleanliness was singled out for positive comment. We can have up to 18 guests to serve in an hour and when as sometimes happens everyone comes down together there will inevitable be a wait. We will not compromise on the quality...

Just stayed for the one night. The owner was very friendly on arrival and taking our dog with us was absolutely no problem. The rooms were very clean and looked as though they had been recently decorated. It would be pushing it to say the rooms were spacious (we had 'medium') - space was tight but adequate for a short... more

Clean , lovely B&B. The owners are really friendly and can suggest places to eat etc. Very nice B&B with coffee shop at the back. Lots of newspapers etc to read with your breakfast. I would recommend this place I think it's very competitively priced and not chintzy! Just good, clean value for money and good food. If I had... more
