An enjoyable stay and the breakfast was good. Rooms ideal just tired and in need of a make over but great location and lovely staff Perfect for dog owners as a great run right outside. Sitting in the garden was lovely and a quick walk over the bridge you were at the shops.

We stayed in The Rock House Hotel for 3 nights,we had booked months before from Australia,Our first impressions were not that great as trying to park the car in the Hotel area was very difficult, not much room for error there, and once we had parked we made sure to not move the car for the duration of our stay and really... On bank holiday Monday my family and I waited for a table to be cleaned, then waited nearly half an hour for a member of staff to take our order instead of trying to look lovely behind the bar , we walked out and ate at the pavilion on the front instead they had no dog lying on the sofa... More

We needed a place that was doggy friendly. It was perfect for us as first thing in the morning and last thing at night in the pouring rain we were able to just walk a few metres to enable our cocker to have plenty of space to run around in complete safety right next to the sea. The room was... More

Nice friendly and helpful receptionist. Lovely views of river Lyn running past into the estuary and Bristol channel. All facilities in the room. Good selection of beers, lagers and ciders in the bar. Lovely cooked to order breakfast. Scrambled eggs very good and served with delicious granary bread by friendly waitresses. Parking right outside reception but limited and difficult to... More

This is a very easy review to write . Just returned home after a 4 night stay at the Rock House Hotel , what a great little hotel with the 3 major requirements all exceeded , the bedroom (6) bathroom / shower spotless , warm and with the bonus of 2 windows , one overlooking the river and the other... We took a 4 night break in November (not the best time to visit a seaside location!) This hotel has a spectacular setting and the staff are so friendly. We sampled the restaurant and I enjoyed one of the best meals of my life - a lobster risotto and my husband ordered steak (he usually sends it back or complains... More

We arrived on 6th Nov with friendly and welcoming staff. Who were always helpful and courteous every day we stayed there. (3 nights). We had our black lab with us which was great to be so close to start walks to watersmeet and Valley of rocks. A separate room seating around 16 is catered for if you want your dog's... More

This is a warm & delightful place, with warm & delightful staff & exceptional management! To be able to wakeup in this little idyll is a delight, particularly knowing that everything on the breakfast menu (with perhaps the exception of the cereal), is locally sourced, delicious & hearty. A tremendous way to start the day. The rooms are immaculate, &... More

Spent a couple of days here, on my arrival I was informed that it was the chefs day off and there would be no meals served that evening, but they were willing to ring up and make a booking at local restaurant. Breakfast was excellent and the service was always friendly throughout my stay, most of the rooms have a... More
