Whilst staying at another hotel in Lynmouth (11th - 13th May 2012) we decided to book at the Tors for an evening meal on Saturday the 12th and what a perfect evening it turned out to be. Firstly our table had a picture postcard view of the bay and a sunset which made the experience even more magical, but we... More

Millers have changed most things except the Chef. We only went for a meal but the Public Rooms are now a "Must See" - although completely over the top. The terrace has been re-built to take advantage of the view. The food? It's always been a strong point and remains so - you can see why they kept the chef!

Have just returned from our second stay at The Tors. Really enjoyed our second visit to this hotel. Management and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was superb. Only popped in for lunch when staying in the area but felt compelled to write a review .First things first I will readily admit I am a fan for the Millerisation that happens to these hotels - Love The Anchor in Porlock and cannot wait for The Castle to reopen. The Tors stands in one of the best positions in... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend in Febuary for a weekend break. We arrived in the car park with no spaces having to park next to a smelly skip, then after checking in we had to find our own room as it was too much trouble for the staff to inform us. The room was very dated, and smelled of... More

The title says it all really....WOW... the hotel, even though in the process of being refurbished is absolutely amazing from the minute you pull into the car park. The views across the bay and the harbour are breathtaking, the appearance of the hotel is enchanting and then you start to notice the characteristics and magical touches of a genius at... More

When looking for a hotel in Lynmouth, avoid this one at all costs!! It's well known in the town and the comunity to be of very poor quality and poorly managed, and wish I had listened to the people first. This hotel should be a 2 star and is completely overated!! We checked out of this hotel within 10 minutes... More

Myself and my Husband stayed at the Tors Hotel from Friday 2nd March until lunch time Sunday 4th March 2012.
