Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff and lovely food. The hotel is dog friendly as well which was ideal for our trip. The views from the dining room and terrace are spectacular and the evening meal in the restaurant was well priced and delicious.

Just back from a 2 night break and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel is quirky and could keep you amused for hours examining the "artifacts". I know its been recently revamped but still in an ild fashioned style (and some bits not quite finished). Staff lovely, wifi patchy but great views over the bay. Breakfast is OK - bit... More

Sorry to go against the grain, but we stayed at the Tors late last year, and only now can I simmer down enough to write a critique sensibly. The first issue is access, and despite what any claim might say, it is impossible for anyone in the least bit disabled to stay there..To access the main entrance, one has to... More

We got a warm welcome at reception but didn't get our welcome drink. The room was not up to expectations, especially as we had upgraded to a superior room. The room was small, the bathroom very small, it had all been decorated very recently but the standard of work was poor The windows had been painted shut, except the bathroom... More

I wish I could review the staff and the hotel separately, the hotel out of season is more like a guest house, hotels do not close their bar before 6 in the evening (making the promised welcome drink impossible), or lock the outer door so that a security code has to be used to get in if one goes out,... My partner and his family have been staying at the Tors for years so as the new addition to the family joined along for my first visit to Lynmouth. The room was Cosy and I slept really well, the views from the room were beautiful. The bathroom was clean and an adequate size. The food was exceptional pretty much everyday... More

When me and my girlfriend stayed here we didn't book and managed to just walk in without reservation which was brilliant. The room had a lovely view overlooking the sea and was very well put together. The food we had in the evening was incredible and wasn't an extortionate price either. We can't wait to stay here again!

With my sister, her husband and my husband, we purchased LivingSocial vouchers so that we could enjoy somewhere a little more elite and upmarket. None of us were disappointed. The greeting was very warm and helpful. The room was cold when we entered but... an observation not a complaint! We sat in the lounge and just enjoyed the ambience and... More

I have been visiting The Tors now since the early 70's and it is a bit like visiting one of my favourite old aunts! The hotel is still largely the same and, unlike many other places which have been boutiqued to blandness, the decor in the public rooms at the Miller's Tors has actually embraced its age with a unique... We spent two nights here on a voucher deal which was value for money. Food was very good and staff friendly. This hotel was certainly unique with all the old fashion decor and collectables in a number of the living rooms and bar area. Ideal position set up high overlooking Lynmouth Harbour and the sea. Just at the bottom of... More
