Excellent lunch, seafood delicious, beautifully presented, friendly and efficient service. The desserts looked amazing, it was a shame we didn't have room. It was quite busy when we went for an early lunch, Imagine you would need to book in the evening, well worth a return visit!

Restaurant was very busy as it was a Saturday night but they managed to squeeze us in at the bar as we hadn't booked. Food was delicious! I had the lamb and chocolate fondant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Portions weren't massive but after 2 courses I was comfortably full.

Such a special place in a superb location. Staff very accommodating. Great history in this iconic 14th century pub. Dinner was lovely as was breakfast. Picture window from our room and bathroom!! Will recommend to other friends travelling in this direction. The local walks early in the morning were invigorating in the mist. Loved our time here.

We are very lucky to be situated in such a beautiful location. Our lovely old building is full of character and old world charm. It is nestled into the hillside affording it both coastal and country side views, whilst still in a Village. So there is always something different to look at. We are so pleased you found our staff... More

If you are lover of ancient days than this hotel is exactly for you. This hotel is amassing with narrow passages and comfortable rooms. Here you may test very testy breakfast served by a kindly staff. The hotel is located near to sea. From some rooms there is a view to sea. Don't forget to reserve the room N9 with... More

So pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. I do agree room 9 has a great bath its called a tubby two. As its located on the side of the building it doesn't have a sea view but is a larger room with king size bed. The lovely comments made about the staff and the breakfast have... More
