spent a lovely day in lynmouth and didnt want to go home, so booked ourselves into the Bath Hotel. Warm and cosy hotel, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff, nothing was a problem. We stayed at The Bath Hotel in May 2007 for one night following a very strenuous walk from Porlock. We were made to feel very welcome, despite the muddy boots and the room had everything we needed as well as a sea view. Lynmouth is fab. Even in peak season it is not spoilt and has plenty to offer, sadly thats not the case with the Bath hotel. The decor is dated tatty and smells. A dirty brown carpet on the bathroom floor is a definate no no. Lynmouth yes the Bath hotel no. more

My boyfriend and I recently had a couple of days away in Lynmouth at the Bath Hotel. Not the best place to stay in town, the decor was tired and dated, while the location near the harbour was good the hotel was disappointing and had obviously seen better days. Food was average, mediocre at best. Definitely no romantic getaway. more
