The Thorverton Arms is a nice country inn with a friendly host who engaged us and made us feel very welcome. However it would be even better if they were a bit better organised and as attentive to themselves as they are to their clients e.g. Stephen's dirty apron put me off my breakfast!

Comfortable, self-contained accommodation with friendly owners. Lovely location; only a short drive to centre of Exeter.
