Room was large, clean and well appointed. Bathroom was a little tight, but clean and lots of hot water! Breakfast was very good - nice, sunny breakfast room on first floor near garden. Staff were professional and friendly.

Located very close to Exeter St. David's station, Town Centre and Exeter University, Town House B&B provides a perfect base to explore Exeter and beyond. I stayed here for three days in the Nicholas Nickelby room at the top of the house. It was an extremely quiet house only a short walk from many restaurants. The whole stay was a...

My friend and I stayed in the Darcy Twin Room in late April 2012. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again. The staff were really helpful and accommodating, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Breakfast was great with a fabulous selection. There was free parking available and was easy to find in a great...

We have just come back from a lovely three night stay and would gladly return. Unlike some B & Bs where one feels constricted about hours and movement, we felt free to come and go as needed. At the same time, it is an organized, well-run and very friendly small inn. The owner Pete, manager Stanka and breakfast cook Nicola...

Stayed here for one night on way to Cornwall. Very easy to find and ideally located close to town centre. Short walk to a variety of pubs and restaurants. We stayed in Lorna Doone room, which was very comfortable with nice views over the churchyard. Bedroom and en-suite bathroom bright and very clean. Very peaceful night sleep. Breakfast served in...

I stayed here for one night and was impressed by the genuinely friendly welcome I got from the people that run it. I was upgraded from a single to a twin at no extra cost so I was in the "Moneypenny" room. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. The Town House is just a short...

Charming building, kind and friendly staff, excellent location, excellent breakfast (we LOVED the home made marmalade!). We stayed in Lorna Doone room, quiet and cozy, small bathroom but OK for a couple. It is our second, and certainly not last visit to Town house!
When I arrived I was a bit unsure as my room was in the attic and called 'the Iran room' but I've had a great nights sleep and a fantastic breakfast with organic eggs from the hens in the garden! The staff have been nice, everywhere is immaculately clean and it really is excellent value for money.
I organised a large group of 20 people visiting Exeter. Town House looked after us wonderfully -- the rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good (including a cooked breakfast and croissants!). Town House is very convenient, a mere 10 walk to the town centre and very close to both Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids Railway Stations.
My wife and I needed a base in Exeter so we could see in the new year with my family. The hotel is ideally positioned, 10 minutes walk from the centre and 5 minutes from St David's railway station and the Imperial, the largest Wetherspoon pub in England. Street parking is available, and a permit is provided for you to...
