We stayed at the Oke Lodge for a week and were more than satisfied. Due to some of the entries here, we had expected the worst. Now we find all these negative comments not just unfair but illogical as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, the breakfast and the overall atmosphere okay. No reason at all... more

It was like going back in time to the 50/60's. If this was in main land europe it would be shut down. The lack of care to the building and layout, parking was a joke. Yes the room was clean, but the toilet seat was broken and dirty floor. The bedroom carpet must have been laid by Tarmac sticky carpet and... more

The rooms seemed quite dated and in need of a good overhaul, e.g., painting. They also seemed in need of a clean. The noise was really bad; mainly from other guests; (unfortunately the staff were unable to help when I complained about the behaviour of other guests) or the noise from the kitchen at 6am waking me as it was... more

I stayed at Oke Lodge for two nights recently. I found it comfy, cosy and warm. I loved the room and the bed was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful yet non-intrusive. The breakfast was very good and I felt very at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. more

I had a very long stay at the Oke Lodge Hotel and I loved every minute of it. The hotel had a very cosy feel about it, and my bedroom was lovely - clean, warm and very comfortable. I haven't slept so well in a long time! The breakfasts were delicious and the wi-fi availability invaluable. The staff were wonderful... more

This is the worst B&B I have ever stayed in. The place looked more like a hostel than a B&B, had a nasty musty smell, the decor was old fashioned and the shower was cold. I may as well have been sharing a room with the person next door as the walls were so thin I could hear his every... more

Stayed at the Oke Lodge for 1 night and believe me that was enough! Stayed in family room with my husband and toddler. The room was small and to say the least a bit skanky. The TV which was fitted above the single bed was hanging loose and I was afraid it may fall on my sons head whilst he... more

The Hotel was ok, nothing fancy. We went down for the football on a Tuesday night in March 07. The room we had was small and the toilet was tiny. Wasn't too far from the clubs and pubs. It did a job for a bed for the night. If spending longer in Exeter I wouldn't want to spend more than... more

Stayed here October 2007 for 2 nights, 2 adults and 2 children in a family room. Arrived in the dark and when we pulled up outside I thought it was a hostel for asylum seekers, although when we got inside the reception area was ok. Web site said en-suite rooms - separate shower room and bathroom down the hall. Very... more
