We stayed in Triple and double rooms and had a wonderful 2 nights stay. The rooms were cosy, clean, equipped with more accessories than you need. Location is right in the middle of the city. The staffs were friendly and serves us efficiently. I will definitely stay longer next time when I'm in Exeter. Wan M Fauzi more

I stayed here for two nights, the room I had (number 3) was very clean and decorated to a high standard. The room was not big, cosy more like, but perfectly adequate for me on my own. The bathroom again was small, but clean and fitted to a high standard. We paid £85pn which sounds expensive but I would stay... more

From the moment we booked, the service and professionalism was excellent. We arrived on a cold 'summer's' day, by train and taxi, to a really warm welcome, room not quite ready as we were early, offered hot drinks and nibbles, room was soon prepared and we got settled in for a week. Breakfasts are to die for, the little dishes... more

A colleague and I had to spend one night in Exeter this month and I'm so glad we chose the Silversprings. The welcome was warm and the staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating - almost every time they saw us we were offered a tea or coffee, and asked if everything was all right! Our rooms were clean, bright... more

Lovely small town house hotel. Very convenient for the city. Staff were extremely welcoming, courteous and helpful. Room had complementary bottle of wine, fresh flowers, free wi-fi, high quality toiletries. Excellent breakfasts. Small parking area at back but staff helped with this. We arrived early, were made a pot of tea and given cakes to eat in the garden while... more

I stayed here whilst at a conference at the university - the hotel was well situated on a quiet street, within easy walking distance of the university, train stations and town centre. The room was rather small (but then it was a single and it's size was reflected in the price), but had everything a traveller would need. The bed... more

We originally booked a room as the one-bed apartment wasn't free. However on arrival it was so we moved there. It was beautifully decorated with all the amenities you would need for a weekend away. Huge comfy bed (a must!!), lovely large walk-in shower, washing machine to wash our dirty hiking gear, sky TV. Staff were fantastic and printed off... more

Although being somewhere inbetween B&B and hotel, it's the character and little extra's that make this my accommodation of choice in Exeter. We paid £95/night for a family room which was perfect for my wife and I and our 3 year old son. The location is good, a 10 minute walk to St Davids station and the other way into... more

A very comfortable hotel, clean and friendly. A kingsize bed and a beautifully finished bathroom added to the enjoyment of our stay. The breakfast choice was large with a very good continental choice which complemented the usual cooked breakfast. The only downside was the lack of parking, although there is a reasonably priced council carpark available. Convenient for walking into... more
