We 4 friends, who used to work together, catch up twice a year and plan to meet in different locations in the UK. Our last visit (21/11/09) was at this hotel. They were very flexible when we needed to move our booking from March to November. On our arrival, they could not do enough to make us welcome. The rooms... more

We booked 2 rooms here - a l twin room and one of the managed apartments too. Maintained to a high standard, quiet, despite the central location with a lovely patio garden. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again. more

We regularly travel to Exeter for our wedding anniversary and this is, without a doubt, the best B&B we have stayed in. The location is great, only 5-10 mins walk to the city centre. The rooms are clean and comfortable (especially the beds) and we watched a DVD in our room from their collection on the last night. Tea and... more

We stayed at this hotel while in town for a wedding, and it could not have been better. They paid attention to all the little touches. The bathroom was spotless, the room was comfortable and breakfast was much better than we had expected. I would highly recommend this hotel, and am even considering another visit to Exeter so that I... more

The Silver Springs is perfect for someone working in Exeter on a regular basis. The combination of friendly staff, excellent service, comfortable rooms and a first class breakfast definitely make this a home from home. Proximity to local cafes and restaurants, plus a 10 minute walk to the city centre for all other amenities add to the convenience. Highly recommended. more

When my husband and I arrived at Silversprings I was sure I must have made a mistake and booked the wrong hotel. Having got home and re-read the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor I am even more mystified. The hotel is very small and cramped. The basement being a small sitting area with a reception desk off a breakfast room. Going... more

This hotel was delightful in every way. All the staff were friendly and helpful and did all they could to make our stay pleasant. Our room was newly decorated and and had every amenity you could think of, a pleasure to stay in. Located in the centre of Exeter we could abandon our car in the parking facility provided and... more

Not a 'hotel', due to narrow stairs and small rooms and queue to get breakfast. Also no doors open fully. Excellent breakfasts apart from coffee. generally overpriced, not worthy of the other ratings, but always full! more

We stayed in Triple and double rooms and had a wonderful 2 nights stay. The rooms were cosy, clean, equipped with more accessories than you need. Location is right in the middle of the city. The staffs were friendly and serves us efficiently. I will definitely stay longer next time when I'm in Exeter. Wan M Fauzi more
