Stayed for four nights, First impression on arrival was Wow! Frontage very floral and cleaming in the sunshine, and lawns manicured to perfection, The location is slightly off the beaten track but ideal for exploring the coast left and right of the exe estuary.e.g Dawlish, Torquay, Lyme regis, Exeter and so on. The accomodation was very clean but a little on... more

We stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding, the reception of which was held in the hotel. First of all, i thought the service the hotel gave at the wedding reception was fantastic, they were friendly and helped make the evening very special. The rooms were a little small but they were comfortable and clean, with comfy beds.... more

We stayed here on the weekend students start university, consequently there seemed to be no vacancies at any hotels in exeter but my husband's work managed to get us a room at this hotel As other reviews have stated, it is on a very busy intersection road, overlooking a roundabout in the middle of nowhere. the room although clean was... more

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding. We booked on the Internet with the hotel, I also spoke to them about the booking. Upon arrival we were given a room on the lower floor which had a great outlook towards the carpark and an extremely busy roundabout. The room itself was small and not worth money. My wife... more

I have been staying at the Devon for a period of time due to work secondment. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and I have never found one as good as the Devon. They have taken care of me as though I was one of the team. I have watched how they look after other... more

This hotel was excellent value for money, I paid £50 special winter rate over a Sunday night. without breakfast which was an extra tenner. The room was clean, roomy and all facilities in good working order. Had a view to the rear of the hotel and it was very quiet. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful as they... more

I stayed at the Devon Hotel for two nights in January, 2007, whilst on business locally. The Devon is situated by a roundabout, adjacent to the A379 Exeter By-Pass, very near the Marsh Barton Trading Estate. It’s a three star hotel, a modern building next to a more traditional one housing a bar and restaurant, where breakfast and dinner can... more

Stayed here for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. On the website it looks pretty nice, and from the cost you expect something decent. The accomodation is in fact motel style, with cars parked right outside your window/front door. And its right on the roundabout of the Exeter-by-pass, so you can't open your window as the noise of the... more
