Loved the Hotel and the pub. My children (aged 4 and 8) were spolt by the staff and enjoyed the evening meals and the complimentary breakfasts. The family room was a very good size with a double bed and a double sofabed which was very comfortable and also had an LCD TV. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who... more

First things first lets classify this hotel! This is a stop over hotel i.e. great for one, or maybe, two nights. This hotel is in the same genre as a travel lodge, travel inn, etc. With this in mind I would not recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend away or weeks family holiday. My family and I have recently... more

Good sized bedrooms but a king size bed would have been a bonus. The main complaint was mould in the shower. A wipe around with spray bleach would have solved the problem. Breakfast was very poor, only sliced bread for toasting. No fresh bread or rolls. The croissants were very dry and we ended up hovering them above the toaster... more

Tiny cramped room, very depressing and dark.No wardrobe, just a few hangers on a rail. How could they charge £62? Evening meal tasteless and lukewarm.Breakfast very simple and we couldn't wait to leave. The word 'hotel' is an exaggeration. more

We stayed here before an early morning flight from Exeter Airport as it was only 4 miles away. We paid £65 for the room and that would have included breakfast but we had an early start. We were warmly welcomed and checked in swiftly, l had previously given my details as we needed to pay on arrival due to our... more

We stayed here for one night. The room was spacious, and had everything you needed for a nights stay. Breakfast was excellent, very large choice of food. We ate dinner in the adjoining pub, and were very disappointed with the food; we left most of it as it was unappetising and overcooked. Would stay again but wouldn’t eat in the... more

Stayed with my fiance for a couple of days break. On arriving we were pleasently suprised to be greeted with such entusiasm, nothing was too much for the young lady, (Liza), we like to drink lots of tea and coffe and when we asked for some more complimentary tea for our rooms were given plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and... more

Looks pretty but looks are deceptive.... A soul-less place to stay, with the word 'Hotel' being overstating a glorified bead and breakfast., my main sources of hassle were: - Could not charge anything to my room bill, so I had to drive in to town to get some cash, just for a bottle of Coke! (in fact, I like the... more

My husband and I stayed here for three nights (one night free). £110 for three nights and breakfast for two each morning is a good deal - also complimentary daily newspaper. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We have stayed here three times and our rooms (twin) have always been clean and the beds comfortable. There is a problem... more

My husband and i recently stayed here for three night. (3 for 2 offer with innkeepers lodge). The accommodation was typical of innkeepers. The room was clean and fresh towels provided every day. The only draw back with the room was it was on the ground floor facing the carpark so having the windows open ment noise could be heard.... more
