We spent a very pleasant night in this comfortable hotel, very conveniently situated for Exeter St David’s and Exeter Central stations and the shopping centre. Our deal included B&B and a 6 course taster menu for dinner for two in their Olive Tree Restaurant. The meal included an interesting combination of pigeon breasts and chorizo, perfectly cooked Brixham hand-dived scallops,... More

The quality of the customer service we received from the Head Waiter (Alfie) was second to none. His cocktails we enjoyed before our meal at their restaurant (The Olive Tree) were up there amongst some of the best cocktails we have had the pleasure to drink (Alfie had created them himself) - rivalling those created by the HausBar in Bristol.... We had the travelzoo package which included a 6 course taster menu overnight stay and breakfast. The hotel itself is very outdated and on closer inspection wasn't 100% clean, cobwebs etc. The meal & breakfast were excellent but the service was slow.

Enjoyed an overnight here. Great location for the vibrant city centre. Room 104 was light and airy with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was simply brill - lots of choice and great quality. Would highly recommend.

Stayed overnight, upgraded to room 103, lovely warm comfortable room but bathroom was cold. Staff were lovely and helpful. Don't let the reception area put you off, it needs an update.would definately stay again.

We stayed at queens court last weekend a great location for seeing the city and easy parking in the square in front I was slightly dubious looking at the hall carpet and wondered what the stay would be like, however the rooms were very clean and comfortable in need of an update maybe but fine, but the food was really good... We stayed here for the second time on a travel zoo deal and what fantastic value. The rooms are a little tired and bathrooms need an update but all was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. What made it was the food, absolutely delicious, we had the taster menu, could not fault it and the breakfast was yummy too... More

I've stayed in this hotel twice now. It's conveniently located, being just a short walk from the central railway station, university and the city centre. The public car park opposite the hotel is free overnight (until 8.00am) and it is possible to pay the night before if you want to park beyond that time. The rooms are basic but comfortable.

Perfect location within easy walk of Exeter Central Station and taxi/walk from St David's Station. Comfortable room. I invited a friend to share a meal in the Olive Tree Restaurant - a great choice specialising in locally sourced food. I would come back.

We stayed at the hotel for one night just before Christmas. Parking was in a car park just outside of the hotel which was very reasonable at around £6 for 24 hours. Location was excellent, near to town, pubs and restaurants but still in a quiet location. The room was adequate and clean with reasonably modern decor. The 6 course... More
