We stayed 2 days 16/17th April. Some Premier Inns can be a bit of challenge to find; not this one, easy from the M5 junction. Not only that, but the welcome at reception made you instantly at home, and they went out of their way to help us. Where we live is quiet, but although it's near a busy road,... More

We just went to Exeter for the weekend to visit friends and get away. The hotel had been remodeled and the only complaint I would have is the height of the bath tub. It is a stretch for people with short legs and you need to hold on to the towel rack to make sure you don't slip. It is... More

I recently stayed here agin and since my last stay the rooms have been refurbished. The bed is great but the room felt a little on the small side. There is no longer a bath but now a large walkin shower where the bath used to be. The quality of the shower was good but as there is a step... More

We stayed two nights mature couple Sunday & Monday visiting family and grandchildren holidaying in nearby Dawlish Warren - The location was ideal just of M5 with easy access to local resorts and activities, excellent parking and comfortable well managed rooms. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts in the restaurant were really first class and we liked... More

The Countess Wear Premier Inn is very close to the city of Exeter. There is a good bus service into the city so that the need to take the car is unnecessary plus parking could be a problem. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and extra pillows are provided. Tea and coffee is provided in the rooms and hand and... More

Pros: Very convenient location, friendly and polite staff. Recently refurbished. Restaurant food and service very good. Cons: No telephone in the bedroom therefore in an emergency no means of contacting Reception. Wrong to assume that everyone has a mobile phone. No heating or heated towel rail in the bathroom. Wall mounted handrail would assist when showering

My wife and I stayed overnight after a family "do" in Exeter, and were as satisfied as usual with the standard of cleanliness, furnishings, comfort and equipment that one expects from a Premier Inn. The busy nearby road provided some traffic noise, but that was to be expected, bearing in mind the location, and it certainly did not affect our... More

At the last moment a buffet was arranged after a family funeral in a pleasantly light room as it is a little dark in some areas. The staff were friendly and efficient and my older uncle and his wife said their stay was very comfortable too. This is a great place to stay if wanting immediate access to Exeter and... More

We stayed here during a visit to Exeter. This Premier Inn is well located beig close to the M5 and a short drive from the city. It has plenty of parking and is adjacent to a good Harvester restaurant that we ate evening meal in (so good to walk straight into it past reception). The rooms have been refurbished and... More

Fantastic price, friendly staff, can't fault it. We stayed for two nights when visiting friends, the rooms had recently been improved, great nights sleep and a decent breakfast not our usual choice.....writing this review whilst in a 5* hotel in Venice, but would definitely recommend
